Holiday rentals near The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks

Our extended family travelled over from the UK for our son's wedding in nearby Audobon and were so lucky to find this fabulous farmhouse in Wayne. Its renovated to a high standard and offers such a homely comfort that we felt relaxed within an hour of our arrival and the comfortable beds helped take care of our jet lag. The hospitality from our hosts Kate and Rich Parker was exemplary - what lovely thoughtful people - and helped make our stay so special. From providing food and drinks for our arrival and games for the children, to suggestions of where to go. Nothing was too much trouble. We had never heard of Wayne but it's a lovely leafy area in the colonial style with a quaint town centre offering bars, restaurants, coffee shops, an old cinema and a fantastic book shop. It also has a train station that offers a frequent direct train to Philly just 30 mins away. And if that's not enough King of Prussia Town Centre and Mall (the biggest in the US we are told) are just 7 mins drive away. Hard to believe when you retreat back to the farmhouse at the end of the day surrounded by woodland with white tailed deer on the lawn as you sit out on the terrace and the stars come out. In all, a wonderful, relaxing retreat with so much on the doorstep and the perfect hosts. We could not have asked for more. Look forward to returning next year.
