Antiparos Island villas

We vacationed to the island of Antiparos for our 40th anniversary with our 3 grown children and their spouses. This home is everything the description says about it. It is spacious for a family of 8 with all modern amenities. It is located close to town which we walked into daily. The outdoor living is amazing with a beautiful view of the sea and a nice size pool to cool off in. The hosts were on property in on of their other homes when we stayed and were so nice and accommodating. Truly a special place that my whole family thoroughly enjoyed. All of us agree that we would all come back to this beautiful island because of this beautiful home. Also, during the booking process I had many questions and the response was always quick and very helpful. Already thinking about returning for our 45th anniversary.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more stylish villa for 6 couples anywhere in the Med, never mind the Cyclades or Antiparos... It's magnificently designed - each of the 6 en-suite bedrooms a quiet, isolated air-conditioned sanctuary positioned along the beautiful open air terrazzo spine of the house which runs all the way from front door to jaw-dropping west-facing sunset view at the other end. The living area flows beautifully and endlessly - full-spec catering kitchen into protected BBQ terrace, onto dining and living room that spills onto patio and pool deck - all integrated but with their own function - there's a time for each space and you use them all through the day. The furnishing is understated, light and contemporary - and does the job of leading your eye outdoors and to the pool and the view of the Aegean - which themselves merge and mirage through the day. One of the best designed pools - a 20m lap pool joins a relaxing pool with inset loungers, steps and walls so you can loll and chill in the water for hours - which we did. The housekeeping is exemplary - towels for every function, linen changes as required, tables beautifully laid and cleared - it functions seamlessly. And so many delights - a hot tub deck, downstairs cinema, soaring ceilings, acres of terrazzo, views forever... Bear in mind it is isolated and down some rough dirt roads - with a lot of building still happening in the area - but you won't stay anywhere better on Antiparos.

‘Wow’ was the first impression on entering the villa - everything was as hoped for but in reality it was even better. The location, whilst quite remote, offered sensational views of Anti-Paros & the villa was so spacious that, although 9 in our party, we never felt cramped. The villa was well equipped & provided with every amenity ensuring that a fantastic family holiday was enjoyed by all.

We absolutely loved our time at Villa Sophelle and can thoroughly recommend this place. The Villa is very spacious, light, comfortable, quiet, very well presented and spotlessly clean. Excellent quality linen, shower towels and the added extra of pool towels is a bonus when packing light! The kitchen has EVERYTHING you could possible need and well laid out. All the different dining/seatings areas inside and outside of the villa are amazing with excelllent furniture and views too! The sun loungers are really good quaility and very comfortable which is important when you are lazing by the beautiful pool all day. The outside area is gorgeous and so well maintained with pots and plants. The pool is one level (no deep end) and has the most amazing view over the sea. You can see the local beach from the villa and you can walk easily but you do need to cross a busy road which is fine as adults but wouldnt with small children. There a so many beaches to explore in the area and only ever a short drive away. The two most local beaches have great tavernas too. There was also a beach umbrella and bats/balls to use for the beach which is always a nice touch. The two shower/toilet rooms are really well decorated and the showers themselves are excellent with good water pressure. Both bedrooms have shutters, the best mosquito nets we have seen and air con which was needed in the night as it was hot! The upstairs master bedroom is gorgeous with ensuite and private terrace, which was the best place to watch the sunset each night. There is a huge walk in wardrobe and a large comfy bed. We loved this space. There is also aircon downstairs in the property too but we didnt often use that as the breeze coming through the villa was perfect. The sofas are very comfy and there is a good tv but we didnt really use it as the view was all you need when youre here. The wifi was good too in most areas of the villa. Parokia is about 10 mins by car but does depend on local traffic so can take longer. The supermarkets are a few mins away and there is plenty of choice and there are some great bakeries/cafes too. Parokia has so many amazing restaurants and shops and you can loose yourself here for many hours. You need a car to stay here which means you can travel around and and explore this wonderful island. We recommend the car ferry to antiparos too. In all we had the most amazing, relaxing two weeks here and will be back again in the future. Thanks Sophie.

Very nice, spacious house, group of 3 semi-detached properties in paradise location

We had a lovely stay in Dimitra's house in the first week of September, we were a family of four . The house was exactly as described and as it looks in the photos. It was very clean, the furnishings and fittings were new and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Communicating with Dimitra was straightforward and the directions provided were useful. Grorege who met us for checkin was very friendly and helpful and easy to contact. Apart from water bottles, we were also provided with 2 bottles of the local wine and melons which were very welcome As with any house in Paros that has such spectacular views, it comes with a steep hill, most of the time we used our hire car but on a few mornings walked down to the bakery at the bottom to get fresh bread ( about 5 mins) or walked into town . Paros is a lovely place to visit and we hope to visit again soon .
