An amazing property, in a great location near to many wonderful Tucsan towns.
The villa restrains its rustic exterior with well kept grounds and a good sized pool.
It is very private and has an electric gated drive.
The modern interior is finished to a very high standard, with masses of space, storage and equipment.
The property representative was also excellent and looked after us very well from start to finish. You can tell the family are rightly very proud of the property and care for their guests.
This was our third time in Tuscany and our favourite place to stay.
Highly recommended!!

The villa is lovely and quiet just up the hill from the centre of Cortona, the walk literally takes 8-10 minutes. Plenty of parking, nice pool (a slight wasp infestation issue aside) and all the amenities you need. Supermarket is a 5 minute drive away. Rooms are all nice and upstairs has air conditioning (the master room aircon wasn’t cooling below 27 degrees but the other two bedrooms cooled nicely - it does get very hot). Luigi pops round most days to keep things ship shape. Would recommend for families or friends 4-6 people. It’s probably a challenging walk for families with young children to walk to town. .
Our recent stay at this Tuscan villa was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the owner, Louise. The location was simply breathtaking, nestled amidst lush greenery and offering beautiful views of the surrounding Tuscan hillside.
The villa itself, a beautifully restored 300-year-old farmhouse, exuded charm and history at every turn. The rooms were comfortable, tastefully decorated with antiques and paintings Louise had collected from friends and loved ones. The bathrooms were modern and clean and kitchen came well-equipped. The living room with the original stone fireplace was a great space to relax in the evening.
The peace and tranquility of the surroundings were truly enchanting. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor area with private pool and the many shaded outdoor seating areas around the villa to curl up with a book. We took walks along the country road towards the nearby church, immersing ourselves in the natural beauty and many olive groves that surrounded us.
The location of the villa was ideal for exploring the Tuscan region. Cortona, a charming Etruscan town, was just a 10 minute drive away, and other picturesque hill towns like Montepulciano were easily accessible.
Overall, our stay at this property was nothing short of magical. It offered the perfect balance between relaxation and exploration, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic Tuscan experience
We spent a wonderful week. The owners were incredible; so friendly and kind. Their love of their home and the area shone through. We’ve never stayed anywhere so welcoming. The facilities were super abc we’d love to come back to explore the area. High recommend.
12 of us (family) rented this beautiful Tuscan property, it was a sheer delight and exceeded our expectations. From the atmospheric houses to the swimming pool it all worked very well for us. The main house was used for the two families with young children whilst my husband and I along with our daughter and son-in-law were in the smaller property.
The house could be described as faded grandeur and we wouldn't have wanted it otherwise. We felt relaxed and were made extremely welcome by the owner who was resident onsite (but not intrusive).
The property is about a 15 min walk into town either through the olive grove or by road. Either way is a steep walk and not for the frail or unfit.
We experienced the most tremendous views, especially at sunset, quite breathtaking.
We were after the true Tuscan experience and we cannot imagine there could be a better place to realise this dream.
It was MAGICAL!
We had a fabulous holiday. The villa had everything we could possibly need, and the garden was beautiful too, with plenty of shaded sitting areas. The Baldoni family made us feel very welcome and were always available to help with any questions. Our daughters loved cooking local dishes with Chiara, and we all enjoyed a wonderful pizza evening with the whole family. A little piece of heaven!
Beautiful property with friendly owners. Just a walk from town so great for dining out.

Pretty perfect villa for out family of 5. Lots of room to spread out. If the weathers not good the indoor seating area would not cater that well for full occupancy but not an issue for us. We enjoyed a family cooking lesson and meal at the villa.
Family holiday with my three children, brother and partner and my elderly mother.

On arrival we initially had problems finding the villa but Luigi kindly came to meet us and we followed him back to the villa. Our hosts Luigi and Stefania spoke very good English and gave a very comprehensive guide of the villa and all the amenities.
The villa has a well equipped kitchen, large spacious bedrooms and three large bathrooms equipped with hair driers and a large supply of towels. Air conditioning made it very comfortable to sleep at night. Outside there are three separate seating areas, one of which has a barbecue with plenty of loungers around the pool.
The villa was well located near to the beautiful hilltop town of Cortona where there are a vast array of shops and restaurants. Camucia is just 10 minutes away where there is a co op and a railway station and en route to Camucia we found a superb fish restaurant. You can take the train to Florence for the day and Siena is only an hour away by car and for my elderly mother We found that Pienza was much flatter than the usual hilltop villages.
Our stay was in July and the pool was a perfect way to cool down, enjoyed by all. For those that didn't want to swim there was plenty of shaded seating areas around the villa.
I couldn't fault Stefania and Luigi, they were perfect hosts. On two mornings Stefania left fresh pastries for us to eat along with a bottle of olive oil made from the olive trees within the grounds and Luigi also kindly printed out our boarding passes for the return home.
Thankyou Stefania and Luigi for making this such a memorable stay and I would certainly come back.
