Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with the family, villa Bonnix ticked the box for the occasion. My granddaughter loved it so much that she didn’t want to leave as did we .All in all a good time was had by all.
The property was pretty much exactly as described and in great condition on arrival with a charming rustic feel. The kitchen and living areas were comfortable and well equipped. The garden and pool were immaculate and very popular with the kids. The size and proportion of all the rooms overall were fantastic and we felt it great value for the money. Only reason we didn’t give a 5 all the way was that some of the floors in kitchen and living area were a bit grubby/sticky otherwise a fantastic finca for a holiday!
Everything about this villa was fabulous. Jose was very helpful and always on hand, he rectified a couple of problems with the air conditioning straight away. The grandchildren loved the donkey and she loved the carrots and apples!
We have stayed in villas in and around Puerto Pollensa for many years and this has been the best for the whole family. The views are amazing.
Quiet location. Nice bay to walk around. Bar-Restaurant only 5 minute walk.
Town centre 5 minute drive in the car.
Property very clean and comfortable.
Marti communicated with us all the way and very kindly accommodated our very late arrival time.
As a surprise he delivered a tray of fresh local cakes. Very nice. Thank You.
So, we had a good holiday.

Me and my husband stayed here for 9 days in August. The finca is perfect for a couple! The house itself is on the smaller side, but perfect for two, really sweet and cosy and has everything you would possible need, including some basics when you arrive, as well as olive oil, salt and pepper, bin liners, washing up liquid… all the little bits and pieces you don’t want to have to buy when you know you are only there for a few days! Although honestly, how much time are you going to actually spend inside when there is beautiful weather outside!
The grounds around the house are pretty big and very beautiful with lots of interesting artwork, all sorts of plants and fruit trees (including a fig tree that we picked fruit from and roasted for breakfast with yoghurt), and lots of species of birds too! The pool is lovely too- I think it’s around 8m, so long enough for you to swim up and down at leisure, and not cold at all either!! As well as lovely, the grounds are also very private as they are surrounded by hedges and it is a very quiet area. Although fairly rural, it is only a short drive to the shops and beaches… I would say a car is essential though.
Last, but not least, the owner is great/m- he came to meet us when we arrived and gave us a lot of info about the house, where to go to eat, local beaches and more! I messaged him a couple of times to ask a few things and he was extremely helpful!
If you are looking for a lovely holiday with your partner with a private pool, that is perfect for two but also has a decent pool, then this is the place! It won’t disappoint!
Great villa in a quiet location close to Alcudia Old Town

We stayed in Can Pau Villa for 1 week. The villa was clean and comfortable and had most of the basics for our holiday.
The villa is positioned in a quiet location, almost at the end of a little lane, not too far from Alcudia Old Town and the local beach which we used - Sant Joan. We used the car to get to the Old Town and the beach, both of which were 5 mins in the car, although you could walk, we guess this would be 20-30 min walk. The beach is used more by locals and therefore tended to be quieter than the main Alcudia beach, although it is a small beach.
There is a market in the Old Town on Sunday's and Tuesday's which is worth a visit, with a good mixture of souvenirs, leather goods, clothes, bakery stall, fruit and veg stalls. Plenty of places to eat in the Old Town as well and a large free car park next to the Roman ruins.
We took a boat trip from near by Pollensa on a 12 person Rib to see the mystical Blue Cave and stopped for a swim in a cove only accessible by boat - the water was clear and good for snorkelling. We saw lots of urchins and fish. The coast line around the area is beautiful.
The air conditioning in the bedrooms of the villa was great and it was furnished with everything that you would need. The only thing we felt would have improved the villa experience would be to provide basic non food items such as kitchen roll, kitchen foil/cling film, spare toilet paper rolls or if previous renters have left these items, for them not to be removed on cleaning so that the next renters can use them. We had to go and buy these items even though we were only staying 1 week.
Other than that, the villa was great surrounded by lovely gardens, pool lovely, fresh eggs daily from the chickens if you like, and subject to the time of year lemons and oranges growing in the garden too. We would recommend the villa and location. You could manage without a car but having one made life easier.
Thanks for a lovely villa which made for a short relaxing break for us.
