Welcome to The Dickerson Cottage. This home is located on beautiful Jekyll Island, Ga. The home features three bedrooms, two full baths and sleeps 6. The home is surrounded by large old oaks and has a fenced in back yard for those of you that would like to bring a small pet. This home comes with access to a community pool and is just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Jekyll Island. There is so much to do on Jekyll Island. Tours of the historic district, sunset cruises, bicycle riding, golf, tennis, shell hunting, sight seeing, putt putt, dining out or just sitting on the beach enjoying the views of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Everyone in your party will surely enjoy their vacation on beautiful Jekyll Island.

Location is excellent. Family room furniture was uncomfortable with some soil. Queen bed was uncomfortable. Kitchen cooking utensils need review and supplementing. Would be helpful if electric garage door opener operated. Balance of house was excellent. Would stay again if available.

Good afternoon, thank you for your review. The week before your stay the guests dogs destroyed the two chairs in the living area. The new chairs will be here tomorrow hopefully. It would have been helpful if you would have let us know while you were here so that we could address these issues for you. Not sure which garage door opener you are referring to. Garage door openers are not available for guests at any of our properties.

Great house!!

Excellent Pet friendly cottage

We've stayed here several times with our two dogs and brought our 11-month old baby this year, and we have loved every time. This home is at a great location with a great fenced in yard with all the amenities you'd want for any length of stay on the island at any time of year.

Perfect spot for our family and pup. Loved the location and the fenced in back yard was awesome. We rented a golf cart for the week so it made things much easier for getting around and traveling around the Island. I would recommend bring a few extra pillows but other than that we had the best vacation. We will definitely be back next year!

Great Place to stay

We liked the layout of the house. The fenced yard was a plus for our little dog. The neighborhood was quiet with a lot of deer roaming around. We will definitely try to stay here when we visit Jekyll Island again.

Enjoyed our Jekyll Island visit

Great place in terms of space, fenced in back yard for our dog. We enjoyed our stay but note that nearest grocery stores are about 25 minutes away other than a few convenience stores.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and peaceful cottage! It was very convenient to ride our bikes to all local establishments as well as the beach! Yard is always full of deer for your viewing pleasure!

Great family home

The Dickerson Cottage is lovely and located on a quiet side street. It had plenty of room for our family of three and a huge fenced backyard. We had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency but we hope to return another time and plan to stay here again.

Family Vacation

We had a great time, place was clean and plenty pot and utensils, no problem cooking , just like we are staying in my owned house. In future we love to go back again. Thank you for providing everything we needed.

Perfect location!

Two minute drive to the beach and you could bike right from the driveway to connect with bike path. House has doggie doors to help enclose dog. Huge yard which our dog loved. Very comfortable beds too! Definitely recommend and we plan to come again.

Great location and stay

Great property and perfect for a group. It was very clean. Just make sure you bring anything and everything you need it’s a clean slate without any coffee filters, soaps, only 1 dishwasher pod and no spices. It wasn’t a problem but would have been good to know beforehand.

Great backyard!

This property was perfect for a week at the beach for our family of 6 plus 2 friends and our dog. Clean and easy to find, a great garage “staging area” for beach chairs, etc. Great, easy access to the bike paths. Fantastic quiet, neighborhood shaded with many live oaks. So glad it was available!

Relaxing

This was a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. We loved watching the deer on the other side of the backyard fence. The house and furnishings were all very clean... everything we needed for our stay.We would love to return to the Dickerson Cottage on our next visit to Jekyll Island.
