Isabelle and Jean ELIAS welcome you for your holidays in Charente-Maritime, in Chaillevette, in an old tide mill whose existence dates back to the 15th century, the current building having been built between the 17th and 19th centuries.
Its location on an oyster port typical of the Presqu'Île d'Arvert, on the edge of Seudre and in a Natura 2000 area, will seduce you with its authenticity and its wild beauty.
Your accommodation will be, among others, near the beautiful sandy beaches of the Grande Côte, the seaside resort of Royan, the forest of Coubre, the zoo Palmyre and Ile d'Oleron. It is on the 2nd floor of the mill, (without elevator) and has private access. You will have free access to the large swimming pool (12 X 8 m) and outdoor facilities: equipped plancha, barbecue, picnic tables, ping-pong, garden).
The property is located in the middle of former salt evaporation ponds. Therefore, it is not suitable for young children to 10 (babies excepted).

Un séjour au calme et à la fois proche de tout

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le gîte Cordouan. Il est très agréable à vivre, confortable, décoré avec goût et très fonctionnel (les photos ne lui rendent d'ailleurs pas justice). La piscine est très bien entretenue et équipée pour de belles baignades rafraîchissantes. Nous avons particulièrement aimé le calme du lieu (loin de l'agitation des stations balnéaires) et en même temps sa proximité avec tous les points d'intérêts de la région : Royan, la côte sauvage, les villages pittoresques de la Saintonge, etc. Nous recommandons cet appartement les yeux fermés et serions ravis d'y retourner !

Un Havre de paix

Réservation faite au dernier moment, nos hôtes ont été aux petits soins avec nous, j'ai réservé la chambre Cornouan, grands espaces et très convivial. Il y a même un petit lave vaisselle dans la cuisine aménagée et un lave linge est à votre disposition. La piscine est geniale et c'est avec grand plaisir que je reviendrais

Un long week-end ressourçant

Logement propre et agréable, lieu au calme et ressourçant. Une superbe vue. Seul hic au tableau, même si n'étions que fin mai, le temps un peu juste, il n'est notifié nulle part sur l'annonce les dates d'ouverture de la piscine laissant croire que celle ci est ouverte et chauffée, mais elle était fermée . Dommage, c'était une des raisons de notre choix initial. Cependant la propriétaire est très gentille et disponible. Je recommande
