We stayed 1 week in July 2015 at Aurelio and Maria’s place who is a very gentle, quiet and helpful couple.
The « plus » :
The location of the house is unique (on the edge of « Capo Zafferano », which is on the side of a rock overlooking the sea), with quick access to the public beach – 2min by walk). The suite was charming and just suitable for our family (2 adults, 2 young kids).
What we have preferred is the very well maintened garden and the stunning view. We and our 2 kids (7 and 5 years old) enjoyed the swimming pool very much.
A delicious and plentful breakfast was prepared everyday for the guests (fresh bread, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, bacon, italian sausage, tomatoes, mozarella, croissants…). This meal was very refined as it was served with silver cutelry, and perfeclty ironed linen tablecloth !
Finally, we would highly recommand this place for anyone looking for charming accomodation, in this area.
The « less » :
No access to the kitchen and washing machine : this could be unconvenient with young children, but we were aware of it and made the choice to stay 1 week anyway. Restaurants are 5 min away by car.
Beware to get there with a relative small car as the streets to access the house are very narrow (like in many places across Sicily !)
Finally, we would highly recommand this place for anyone looking for a quiet, charming and well maintened accomodation in this area.
