Old Newton of Doune is a small castle near Doune in the centre of Scotland.

If you are looking for clean lines and minimalism this is not the house for you. Old Newton is a charming fortalice with a walled garden and fabulous views of Doune Castle. It is ideal for family and small group gatherings. No weddings. It is a Grade A-listed building, one of the oldest in Scotland with records going back to 1435. It has evolved its character through many generations and had many illustrious visitors including Walter Scott, David Hume and more recently the cast and crew of Outlander. The welcoming village of Doune with its many amenities is within easy walking distance.

Please leave the house and garden as you found it. Leave used towels in the bathrooms. Put dishwasher on. Clean up the garden after your pets.
