Quiet and private getaway apt. Close to all the Washington DC sights, including Mount Vernon and Manassas, VA. We enjoyed how easy it was to get around and there was plenty of nice places to eat as well.

Parking was easy use of garage. Kitchen is small with a hot plate and microwave. It was perfect for us as the only meal we ate there was breakfast. This was the perfect spot for us!!

Nice place and great location

Enjoyed our stay. Drove to DC to visit and see the National Mall. Easier than mass transit. Location is good for restaurants and groceries. The trees and surrounding area are beautiful.

Great relaxing stay

Fantastic little apartment! We stayed for a concert this weekend and it was easy to find and convenient to everywhere we wanted to go! We weren’t able to sit on the deck any due to rain but very nice and relaxing inside! Bed was beyond comfy and I slept like a baby! We will be back!

Great location. The garage was great for parking the car in. Very nice. Neighborhood was very quiet. Only downside was even with wifi internet was slow, and the foam on the mattress was wider than the bed and the wife almost hurt herself falli g off what looked to be the edge of the bed but was just where the foam pad sticks out past the mattress by at least 4-6 inches.

Perfect Spot!

This suite was perfect! It came with everything we needed and was big enough for myself, husband and 10 month old son. It is close to everything including DC (about 40 min). It was wonderful to stay outside of the hustle and bustle. We would stay here again.

Perfect Retreat

We stayed for three weeks and we had plants of room. Lots of storage and loved having the convenience of the washer/dryer. Landscaping was beautiful and eye-catching. Great neighborhood in which to walk. Kitchen is perfectly appointed and the host leaves coffee and chocolate!!! Wine was also provided.

Wonderful Above Garage Retreat in Great Neighborhood

Stayed here while looking for a place for our son in Alexandria, which was about 45 minutes away by car with traffic, but this place is well worth the drive since it is a beautifully appointed unit above the owner's 2nd garage and an exclusive neighborhood in Manases. Monica and David, the owners, were great! Highly recommend!

Very peaceful and private area. Clean and well decorated, equipped with what we needed for our stay. Provided directions were easy to follow and the garage to park in was a nice added touch for convenience. We came to visit DC which was about a 30 minute drive from the property including traffic, and attend a concert in Bristow which was just 20 minutes away. Great central location for our trip. We would definitely come and stay again when we come back this way!

Well-appointed suite with many little touches. Very quiet and natural area, great spot to relax.Occasional noise from the rest of the house, but this is not too common in my experience. My cell service was spotty this far out but it may depend on provider.

Perfect for what we needed

First the loft is in a wonderful, quite neighborhood and Monica is very attentive on the lead up. We were in town house hunting for an upcoming move and she was fabulous with recommendations. The space itself is very cosy and private, with Monica and her husband giving us plenty of physical and mental separation, but checking in enough (via txt) to ensure we had everything we needed. Given the stress of seeing 15 houses in 2 days and putting offers in etc trying to close a deal in 4 days... it was a much needed respite from life. Thanks again Monica.
