We were fortunate enough to have an incredible setting and an incredible host! The home was fantastic considering the area, the way it was built as if it was a step into ancient Crete and the kind host that was incredibly accessible and helpful in every way. We plan to go back to Crete and will definitely choose this home again.

Wonderful

Outside of the property is as beautiful as the photographs! When we visited, the map link in Vrbo was incorrect - use Birgette's instructions or Google maps.

Villa Magical View is a good name for this place.

It is a huge view and the longest horizon I can remember seeing. There is an abandoned building project next door but this does not detract from the incredible setting. The house is very well set up and the extra child bed in the second bedroom worked well. There is so much space both indoors and outdoors. The pool was also perfect for us. You are quite far from much of Crete so best if you want to switch off, relax and spend time in the house and the empty beach nearby. A few very good tavernas about 10-15mins away in the car. Birgitta is also the perfect host. 5 stars all round !!!!!

Perfect for Greta Garbo.

There are two great positives about this property, the brilliant property manager (who could not have been more helpful) and the outside facilities (great pool, nice outside furniture and of course the view). On the negative side, the inside of the property is less attractive. I appreciate style is a matter of personal taste (I’d describe the look as ‘Gothic horror meets Haunted house) but uncomfortable furniture was disappointing. The most important aspect of a stay at this villa is its location. It is REMOTE. If you are Greta Garbo and ‘want to be alone’ it would be perfect. If on the other hand you like to walk to local shops and tavernas then this is not the place for you. My number one tip would be to ensure you shop in Chania before you set off and bring every bit of food and drink you need for your stay with you. Whether you feel like you have found your perfect oasis or you feel like you are under house arrest will depend on the success of that shopping trip.

Meeresrauschen & Entspannung pur!

Out of this world

The glorious view and perfect pool banish any stress you may have brought with you. Lying under a blanket of stars and the visible milky way at night, which we did many nights, was a remarkable experience Both the outdoor and indoor areas are clean and comfortable - perfect for relaxing. The entire house is lovely. We ventured out most days, including Elafonisi (go early), Balos by boat from Kissamos and Paliochora. There are many wonderful tavernas. Glykeria in Elafonisi Gialities down the road Brigitta is a warm and lovely person. She is readily available and truly kind. We are a family of 4 with teenagers and everyone loved the house I highly recommend staying at this property. .

Paradise on earth

The house is exactly as described and even more. For people seeking a relaxing and peaceful holiday far from touristic crowds, this is the place. The Magical View villa is the perfect name for this well-equipped, extremely spacious, secluded, beautifully furnished house. At our arrival, food and drinks were provided - thank you so much! The communication with Birgitta was easy and pleasant and we will definitely come back.

Erholung pur in malerischer Umgebung

Die Villa bietet alles, was man benötigt.
