We really liked staying in the cottage, an ideal location and a good base for exploring.Had everything we needed, and Karen was on the ball with any requests we had.Would stay again, and recommend
The photos on website do not do the house justice. It is far more enchanting when you are stood next to it.It is only a short walk, in either direction from the village and the coop. The upside down nature of the house means that the living space has views into the trees, to help Red Squirrel watching, and the bedrooms are nice and cool. There are plenty of walking opportunities from the village but a car is really useful to get to other towns and villages.
A lovely cottage and fantastic location surrounded by beautiful trees and the sound of babbling streams, but also close to shops etc in Killin. Excellent location for hillwalking and just luscious green scenery. We had a 2 year old with us so had to keep eyes on at all times outside! Would still recommend for families though. The cottage was really well equipped, price comparable to other places, but like most things self catering does seem very expensive these days.
Idyllic spot in Killin, cottage located right near the falls. Host was helpful and quick to reply when we had issues with the shower, they also provided plenty of info about the local area.
Barn Cottage is a lovely well equipped cottage in a fantastic location, just a minute or so walk from the Falls of Dochart Inn which serves great food. The host was very easy to contact, very helpful and accommodating on our check-in time. The location is perfect for exploring the region and there are some lovely walks on the doorstep.
Lovely, well equipped cottage in the heart of Killin, just a minute walk to the Falls of Dochart and the Falls of Dochart Inn. Also within walking distance of shops and other places to eat like the River Inn. Enjoyed our stay despite the rain. Lots of beautiful scenery in the area and loved seeing the oldest tree in Europe, perhaps in the world in Fortingall.
We loved staying here - well stocked with thoughtful touches, so picturesque with the stream running next to the outdoor seating, just a minute’s walk from a fab pub and tea room.
This property has been converted from an old barn to a very high standard. It is well equipped and spacious. The location is ideal, close to the village but remote enough to enjoy the peace and quiet and wildlife
Perfectly located, spotlessly clean, everything you need is there. Great communication with the property manager as well, really helpful and accommodating.
We would definitely book again.
Superb cottage right in the heart of Killin but once at the cottage felt miles away from civilisation. Very well equipped we had everything we needed. Perfect base for our annual trip to our special place
A charming cottage, idillic surroundings and lots of relaxing walks for us and our dog.
The local people in Killin were so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back again.
Barn cottage is the perfect location for the adventurous or simply to relax, unwind and feel totally refreshed everything you need and more within the cottage.pubs, restaurants, shops on door step, such a friendly village never saw so many dogs on summer holidays!
My husband and I stayed in the barn cottage for just about a week. While most of our days were spent driving and exploring we enjoyed coming back every night to the comfort of the cottage. The sound of the water flowing through the property is amazing and relaxing, and the views are spectacular. 10/10 recommend staying here!
