5 Star comfort stylishly hidden in a beautiful traditional Alsatian House

Yup all those other reviews are right! The love and commitment that have gone into rebuilding this house and making it into a place to really relax and pamper yourself just shine out of every little corner. Our two teenage boys were not impressed when we told them we were going to be staying in a traditional Alsatian house, but they were totally won over as soon as when we got there. Not only was there the 'incontournable' wifi, but also an amazing luxury shower, comfortable beds and the piece de resistance.... a baby foot table. They even appreciated the pretty garden and we actually caught them reading a BOOK!! You can walk straight from the front door out into the surrounding countryside and forest, but 5 minutes drive gets you to a large supermarket. Saverne is really near and Strasbourg isn't too far either. I particularly enjoyed a trip to nearby Marlenheim to celebrate the 'marriage of L'Ami Fritz' - a great excuse to eat and drink too much of the local produce! Thank-you so much Nancy, Franck, Colline, Martin and Jean for all their hard work. They made us very welcome and we will definitely be back!

Es handelt sich um ein wunderschönes altes Fachwerkhaus, das Nancy und ihr Mann an einem anderen Ort ab- und mit viel Liebe und handwerklichen Können in Salenthal wieder aufgebaut haben. Dabei haben sie es geschafft, alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten zu integrieren - ein wirklich einzigartiges Haus!Nancy ist eine fürsorgliche aber unaufdringliche Gastgeberin und sehr unkompliziert - dafür auch ein besonderes Lob!

Ein echtes Schmuckstück! Die Lage ist herrlich ruhig, perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Küche war vollständig ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das gesamte Haus liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Die Terasse und der kleine Garten läd zur Erholung ein. Eine ausgezeichnete Gastgeberin hat unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht. Absolut empfehlenswert!"

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem schönen und romantischen Häuschen. Alles war sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Besitzerin war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, sodass wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt haben. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Entspannen in der Natur. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um gemeinsam dem Alltag zu entfliehen und ein paar ruhige Tage zu genießen. Wir können diesen Ort absolut empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder zurück.

Das Haus war ein ausgesprochen romantisches Haus mit äußerst detaillgetreuer, liebevoller und perfekter Ausstattung.Alles nur wunderschön und anheimelnd.Die kurze, aber enge und gewundene Holztreppe ins Obergeschoss allerdings stellt eine Herausforderung dar.

Das Haus ist ein Traum. Wir haben hier einen wunderbaren Urlaub mit unserem Hund verlebt. Obwohl hier alles so historisch aussieht, ist die Ausstattung doch modern und zweckmäßig. Es ist alles da, was man braucht (und noch mehr), am Besten aber ist die Viermieterin NANCY! Super freundlich und nett, und sie spricht auch sehr gut deutsch.11 von 10 Punkten!

Ein Traum

Ein wunderschönes gemütliches Häuschen, dass trotz seiner nostalgischen Ausstrahlung mit modernem Komfort ausgestattet ist. Wir haben den Aufenthalt die erste Woche zu Viert, die zweite Woche zu Zweit plus Hund genossen!In absolut ruhiger Ortsrandlage, trotzdem ist essen gehen und einkaufen mit dem Auto nur Minuten entfernt.Die Gastgeberin Nancy Hufschmitt war uns immer eine herzliche und liebenswerte Ansprechpartnerin, bei der Ankunft wurden wir sogar mit selbstgemachten Leckereien überrascht.Wir können einen Aufenthalt im „Rouge Eglantine“ jedem bedingungslos empfehlen, der Ruhe und Natur liebt und trotzdem schnell zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten dieser wunderschönen Region gelangen möchte. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen!!

Charmantes Haus im Norden des Elsass

Rouge Églantine ist der perfekte Rückzugsort für alle, die das Elsass in seiner schönsten Form erleben wollen. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert und vereint traditionellen Charme mit modernem Komfort – hier fühlt man sich sofort wie zu Hause. Weihnachten in unserem Traumhaus

Sieben supertolle Tage in diesem wunderbaren Fachwerkschatz verbracht. Wir konnten uns stundenlang an den unglaublich vielen liebevollen Details erfreuen, so kam selbst bei mal nicht so gutem Wetter nie Langeweile auf. Und Nancy ist eine supertolle Gastgeberin. Wir kommen wieder!

Ein idyllischer Ort zum Entspannen und Entdecken

Herzlichen Dank für zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen und liebevoll eingerichteten Haus. Die ruhige Umgebung des kleinen Ortes lädt zum Entspannen ein. Familie Hufschmitt war während unseres Aufenthaltes selbst im Urlaub, sodass wir leider nur zwei Tage hatten, um Nancys Herzlichkeit kennenlernen zu dürfen. Merci beaucoup für die Gastfreundlichkeit und die leckeren Köstlichkeiten:-). Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal im wunderschönen Elsass.

Schönes Haus + tolle Gegend + wunderbare Menschen = Traumurlaub

Schon durch die Bilder und die Beschreibung in der Anzeige hat uns das Haus total angesprochen. Die Wirklichkeit war dann noch besser. Vielen Dank an Nancy und ihren Mann, dass sie dieses Schmückstück so liebevoll und durchdacht aufgebaut und hergerichtet haben ... und andere daran teilhaben lassen! Die Begrüßung durch Nancy war sehr herzlich. Wir wurden mit Köstlichkeiten aus ihrem Garten (Eier, Apfelsaft, Gelee) und ihrer Küche (Brioche) versorgt. Mit Rat und Tat stand sie uns jederzeit zur Seite. Auch dafür unseren herzlichen Dank. Die Lage am Rande des kleinen Ortes Salenthal ist ein Traum: ruhig und quasi mitten in der Natur. Man kann lange Spaziergänge machen, aber auch in wenigen Auto-Minuten Supermärkte oder die nächste Stadt (Saverne) erreichen. Wir haben den Urlaub hier sehr genossen und uns, nicht nur wegen der Sauna im Haus, gut erholt. Sicher war das nicht unser letzter Besuch in Salenthal und bei Nancy !

Ein Kleinod auf dem Land

Mein Mann und ich und unsere zwei Kleinspitze haben die Woche in Rouge Églantine sehr genossen. Das Haus hat alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Treppe ist abenteuerlich aber mit der nötigen Ruhe gut zu bewältigen. Ab und zu muss man Suchen was man braucht und wird immer fündig zB. Streichhölzer ; )Die Sauna ist nochmal ein Highlight. Nach einer ausgiebigen Wanderung in den schönen Wäldern von einer Burg zur anderen ist es ein schönes Gefühl in das wunderschöne Fachwerkhaus heimzukehren und in der Sauna zu entspannen. Wer die Ruhe sucht und gerne in einem urigen, liebevoll eingerichteten alten Haus die Ferien verbringen will ist hier richtig. Nancy die Vermieterin ist ein Goldschatz. Zum Willkommen gab es selbstgemachte Geschenke von ihr, zum trinken und verspeisen. Sehr fein und lecker! Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Salenthal in das wunderschöne Häuschen.
