Well equipped appartement with a cosy atmosphere, the wood is nearby to do same walking or running. Perfectly situated to travel to Oxford by bus ( bus stop around the corner), or London (park and Ride in Hillingdon), Stonehenge, Bath or the Cotswolds. In the village you can find a small coop for the first shopping and other supermarkets in 10 to 15 minutes distance. Perfect for exploring Oxford and surroundings for couples or families.Thanks a lot, we really enjoyed our stay and are sorry to leave.

Kitchen:The counter had batter splatters around the cooktop.Advertised eating utensils for 12. Many missing.1 old measuring cup. No tablespoon or teaspoon measure.No spatula to flip eggs or pancakes.Aluminum foil box was empty. Chipped plates and cups.Bath:Dead spiders and webs on 2 walls.No shelf in shower – had to use the floor.Mold in shower stall.No hand towels. They purchased some for us.Bedroom:No fitted sheet. Bed was very comfortable (soft but firm).Outside:The rental is on a one-lane road with an overhang. Advertised as able to walk on it,but we saw no locals walking on it. They complained about too many fast cars. If two cars met, one had to pull up into someone's driveway. Residents are petitioning for the city council to make it one-way only, so they can use it. Wife is on a cane, so we couldn't walk to the bus stop, grocery store, or dining out.Things we Liked:Modern equipment. Stove, fridge, coffee maker, washer/dryer, dishwasher, HDTV, nice bathroom shower fixtures.Mainly, the housekeeping/cleaning was poor. The rental space and appliances were great.
