The moon and the Fox - Life in the countryside, trekking, the blue sea.

Our house is located in Tramonti, the green lung of the Amalfi Coast, and is only 7 km from the sea.

The lemon groves, the vineyards, the terraces with the vegetable gardens and the stables, the chestnut woods and the mountain ridges that surround our houses produce delicacies for the palate and the eyes.

Our home is not born as a holiday home for tourists but it is simply our residence in the countryside that we have decided to share occasionally with those who, like us, love nature and good living.

Ours is an ancient small farmhouse where the large oven under the arch provided bread to the families of the neighborhood. The stable, still in operation today, housed the animals that were used to support the peasant families. All around are vegetable gardens and vineyards. And many many very fragrant lemons.

The restored house preserving its peasant spirit develops on two levels. On the ground floor a large kitchen room with fireplace and a panoramic terrace. A spacious master bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. A bathroom with shower and a second small bathroom with toilet and sink.

The wooden and iron staircase leads to the splendid attic loft where the beautiful cross vault reveals the skill of the ancient craftsmen.
Here a double bed and the possibility of adding beds and / or cots for children on request.

Our small private garden overlooking the crests of the Lattari Mountains will be the ideal place to rest and cool down after a fantastic day at the beach or after walking for a long time on one of the beautiful mountain trails so loved by hikers who visit the Amalfi coast.

The house can be reached by car and the entrance is about fifty comfortable steps from the road. Paterno Sant 'Arcangelo with its very ancient Ascension bell tower and the other 12 districts of Tramonti are a perfect destination also for motorcycle lovers.

FOR TREKKING LOVERS
Our house is also located on the path of several CAI trekking paths that cross the Amalfi coast far and wide. You can first reach the beautiful Valle delle Ferriere and the fantastic and famous Path of the Gods ... and then also go up from Maiori to the Sanctuary of Avvocata or reach Erchie looking at the sea. And still it will be possible to walk the beautiful and easy Sentiero dei Limoni, or go up to the castle of San Nicola De Thoro Plano, and still follow the path from Maiori to the convent of San Nicola and Ravello or that of Capo d'Orso with a visit to Santa Maria de Olearia. Directly from Paterno it will be possible to take the new Formichelle path to reach the sea or climb to the convent of San Nicola and from there reach the sea of Maiori and Minori.
