This is a recently and beautifully remodeled Villa in the heard of down town and is located just about a block from the beach.
You can just walk to the shops and restaurants or you can walk to the beach in just a minute.

For a true La Manzanilla experience indulge yourself for an stay at our Villa and you will have all amenities and beach right by you to enjoy.
You can rent the upper terrace (this listing) or you can rent the whole Villa (all remaining bedrooms have AC) which will include the first two levels (separate listing).

180 Degree view of the bay

This palapa apartment on the top floor of a house near the church is lovely. The view is breathtaking, and the location very convenient. This is our second stay here. Much recommended. The check in was very easy. Alex of Tenacatita Rental is prompt, charming and speaks excellent English. The flat is perfect for a couple.

This suite has fantastic views and is well located near the church and town square. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. However, guests should be advised that suite is open air under a thatched roof, and exposed to heat, wind, heavy dust, birds, insects. It has no walls, windows, solid doors, AC, TV. Bed is contained in a screen enclosure, and just 5 feet away, is bordered on one side by the fridge, and a mechanical room on the other, which houses 2 hot water tanks and 2 AC units for the lower suite, all of which are very noisy and run all day and night. Must spray down with mosquito repellent at night and use earplugs, which are mostly ineffective at the sound levels experienced. Sheets had torn and frayed edges. You’ll need to slide onto the toilet sideways to get on. There are 42 steps up to the suite from street level. We would recommend the suite for short-term stays only, for heavy sleepers. We stayed a month, and it was far too uncomfortable and too expensive for what we experienced.

Exceeded Expectations

This is a great little place for a couple. The view is amazing, 180degree view of the town and ocean. Nice breeze. Comfortable furniture. One word of caution. It’s on the third floor and therefore not for people who are adverse to climbing stairs.

Super cute & affordable

This place is like no other place I've stayed. It is charming, newly remodeled and beautifully/artfully decorated in traditional Mexican style. It is essentially the upstairs palapa for a large house that has been turned into a living space. It is open air on three sides and provides a view of the ocean and the town of La Manzanilla as well as nice breezes. It had everything we needed and was easy access to the town and beach. My only complaint is that it was very noisy at night from the town square below and I wouldn't recommend it in the rainy season. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved the open living experience and listening to the surf after the square got quiet around midnight or later on some nights. Close to groceries and eatery's.
