Great location to enjoy the view while recovering from visiting the EAA show during the day. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the show but close enough to run back and forth during the day. Location looks like a great place to fish make sure to bring your gear with you.
Mike was a great host. We were in town for a bowling tournament for or son, and the property offered the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind in our down time. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the quiet surroundings.
My son and I stayed to spend the week at EAA Airventure. The location was great for that as it's about 10 miles from the EAA grounds. The house appears older and could use some updating but was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The two beds we used were comfortable, though slightly firmer than what we are used to. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking implements and dishes, though we didn't do any cooking during our stay. We did have one issue worth mentioning. The house has a yellow jacket problem. There were a few flying around inside when we checked in. I mentioned it to Mike and he said he had just had the property sprayed and that he would provide some spray for us to use. He promptly delivered a can of Raid. Unfortunately, we needed to use it daily (morning and evening) to kill 3-6 yellow jackets (total of 25-30 during the stay) that had gotten in the house. Fortunately we're not allergic to bees/wasps and we weren't stung during our stay, so we just dealt with it. However, had that not been the case, finding alternative lodging for EAA would have likely been impossible. Assuming this issue is fully addressed, I would consider staying here again, but I'll definitely get confirmation of it prior to booking.

Do not expect to catch fish here!
Ok overall. Very disappointed by the fact that the river in front of the cabin was filled with green stuff and frogs and not clean for fishing.
Great place! Fit my family’s needs for a get away break. It was easy to check in and it was nice to have a private home like space. The view was beautiful with the sunset! highly recommend will book again.
First, be advised that this is investor owned property. You'll be dealing with a professional manager. That said, manager Mike was very responsive, easy-going, and helpful. Impressions: The beds were good, at least the two we used. The fans all worked, as did the windows. For some reason many of the lights didn't work. We didn't try to discover why because we had enough for our purposes. The AC is a noisy wall unit, but works well enough to keep the entire house pleasant. We ran it over night and when we were gone during the day. Everything was clean and neat and homey. I really liked the feel of the place. No laundry, no place to hang laundry. The kitchen furnishings are adequate for bachelor food, but not much more than that. There wasn't a crumb of food in the place so you'll have to bring literally everything required to cook, condiments, etc. However the cleaning supplies were plentiful! The barbecue was nearly new and the outdoor furniture / deck comfortable. Good water, hot and cold. And, of course, the situation, the view, was absolutely perfect. We spent several evenings on the deck toasting the gorgeous sunset. In summary we really liked the place, inside and out. I recommend, unless you're planning on some serious cooking.
The property was very clean and peaceful but the pictures online give you the impression you will be on a clean riverfront with space to maybe dip your toes in the water or float in a tube off shore and that is not the case. The property is set in a bayou which was quiet but pure weeds and muck. The owner had firewood there for nighttime fires which was very much appreciated.
Had a very relaxing time. Couldn’t get the boat on the water at the property since there was too much algae and too many weeds. Would stay here again but maybe in the spring when the water is clearer.
We based our one week stay here for a walleye fishing tournament in Osh Kosh. It was perfect for our needs with good living space in the cabin and good outdoor space for parking and access to our boats and gear.
Came here for a long holiday weekend. Plenty of space to spread out. Good place for cooking, playing board games, catching frogs. Very cute downtown, not necessarily walkable. 20 minutes away from outlet mall and large YMCA. Nice fire pit and deck too.
it was quiet and serene away from the 50,000 people! Thanks

Peaceful and spacious!
Peaceful and spacious. The cabin has everything you could want including nice beds. They were like new. We spent a lot of time around the new fire pit and grilling outdoors. We didn't use the gas grill provided but Mike didn't mind that we brought our own charcoal grill. He is very accommodating and a super friendly host. We all loved our stay!

Satisfactory for our needs
Cabins were clean. Place was quiet. We used the cabins as a base for expeditions to Oshkosh, Green Bay, Milwaukee and the Dells. It functioned fine. We did not use the Resort as a destination. A problem with the internet was fixed pronto

Spacious Cabin Getaway
If you are looking to getaway, enjoy Wisconsin's beauty, do some fishing, relax on a deck reading a book or entertaining, this is the perfect place to do so. Sleeps eight (8) comfortably and very well kept up. All you need is a backpack, a few groceries and you are good to go. Omro is five (5) minutes away if you run out of anything. We loved it and will stay again.
