Perfect base for attending a nearby wedding
We travelled up from Devon (myself & husband) and London (sons & partners), and after a long, challenging journey we were delighted to find a beautiful, clean and comfortable base for our stay. The location was perfect for meeting up with family for a meal at the Oaksmere hotel (5 min walk), for attending the wedding in Eye (2km away) and the reception in Upper Oakley (also 2km away). The comfortable lounge/ seating area was perfect for us all to watch the Coronation on the large TV screen, and the kitchen/dining are served us well for preparing a pre-wedding brunch. Bedrooms were cosy and comfortable, and bathrooms clean and well-stocked with toiletries. The garden was well-kept and attractive - we would have loved to take advantage of the BBQ and hot tub, but unfortunately neither the weather nor our timings made that possible. The family were impressed that I had found such a great place to stay, and we all enjoyed the stay very much.

Wonderful weekend
We stayed in this amazing cottage with our family from New Zealand and could not have been more delighted with the accommodation. It was perfect throughout and everyone had the most wonderful time enjoying local walks and restaurants. The hardest bit was leaving it. We made great memories.

Family week away
This property is of the very highest quality. You wanted for nothing it was almost like staying in a top quality hotel with the all the amenities that were provided. We were a party of four adults and one dog. As the gardens are so safe and secure it made for a very relaxing and restful week. It made a fabulous base to explore the surrounding areas, and a welcome place to return to. Thanks once again for the welcome basket they were much appreciated. Will definitely be returning.

We are a farming family who have converted redundant farm buildings into luxury holiday accommodation. The farm continues to strive growing arable crops such as oil seed rape, wheat, barley, herbs etc. and we run a herd of rare breed English Longhorn cattle as well as pigs and sheep. Conservation of the farm as a whole including the buildings is a top priority for us. We are passionate about wildlife on the farm and creating habitats for many rare species.

Why they chose this property

Baxters was originally part of the farm yard at Church Farm, Brome. Suffolk Farm Barns is a collection of luxury barn conversions in the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
