This place was fantastic. One of the best and most beautiful VRBO houses we’ve stayed in. Outdoors and in, it was a great family getaway! We hope to come back for more time!
Very clean property with amazing grounds! Everything was very well taken care of and there were a ton of amenities to make this a very comfortable stay. Communication was easy and the hosts were very accommodating.
Loved the grounds of this property. It was so beautiful and I looked forward to my coffee on the porch each morning watching the wildlife. Very close to traverse city and about 20 minutes to torch lake. The inside of the house was very clean and the large family room was awesome for the kids. Both bathrooms were very new and nice.
This really was a beautiful property! It was in the perfect location for us. Great place to relax, grill and let the kids run and ride bikes and no worries! Highly recommend
This is a beautiful, clean cabin on a large peaceful piece of property. Host was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Property is secluded but close to many fun activities in Traverse City. I highly recommend this place.
We came to hangout on Torch Lake for the weekend and couldn't have found a better spot. The marina we rented from was 10 minutes from the house along with everything else we needed (grocery, gas, etc). The property itself is enough to warrant a trip to the ranch! Also, close to a casino and short drive to Traverse City. Definitely would b come back again!!
My husband, 3 teen sons and myself all stayed in August and absolutely had the best time. This property is even better than imagined. Clean, gorgeous, relaxing and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The boys loved fishing in the ponds and caught many bass and even a few trout! The grounds are so private and tons of room to roam and explore. This was the perfect spot to stay for a day trip to Mackinac Island, a few trips into Traverse for shopping and several days on Torch Lake. We were looking for a relaxing and fun stay to wind down our summer before heading back to school and this trip was just what we needed. Thank you!!!
From the moment I arrived at Rack and Fly in Williamsburg, MI, I knew I had found a hidden gem. The property far exceeded my expectations in every way. Immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and surrounded by peaceful northern Michigan scenery, this place truly offers the ideal balance of comfort and nature.Heather, our host, was outstanding. Friendly, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful — she made sure every detail was perfect and made us feel right at home from the start. It’s clear she puts a lot of care into the guest experience, and it shows. The layout of the property was incredibly well thought out — cozy yet spacious, fully equipped, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Whether you’re looking to unwind, hike, or just soak up the quiet, Rack and Fly is the perfect base for your northern Michigan adventure. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!
Karen was great to work with and the property was ideal for a guys weekend away. Plenty of room to relax, throw some bags, walk the grounds, grill out, watch football, close to casino and easy access to Meijer if anything is needed. Accommodations are just as pictured; clean, comfortable and spacious. Great experience and will be returning!!!
Beautiful cabin, great property, fun spot for the family. Lots to do there (walking, pool table, ping pong, relaxing. Close to beaches, VASA and TART trails, breweries, wineries, casino and more.
The pictures do not do this place justice. We were there for a horse show for the week. It was very close by. we would normally go out to eat after the show, but this place was so amazing we ended up getting take out and hanging out at the cabin every night, playing games and sitting outside enjoying the view.Would definintely book it again!!
Such a beautiful and scenic property! Great fishing in the ponds. Close drive to everything up north has to offer - Elk Rapids, Traverse, beaches, and breweries. House was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We loved our stay.
Property was beautiful, plenty of space, extremely clean, and well kept. Property owner was very informative and helpful. Great place for small group of friends getting together and enjoying the beautiful northwest corner of Michigan. Would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing property that is well maintained within 15 min of Traverse City.
Everything was just as described. Very clean and all the basics were there waiting for us. Great location off the beaten path but close enough to all the things you want to do.
Wow what a wonderful setting. Pictures don't do it justice. Cabin was well stocked. Great location- 50 minutes to the Dunes, 20 minutes to Downtown Traverse City, 2 hours to Mackinaw. Hosts were awesome!
