Notes
- Built in the 1880s, Carrowcullen is a farmhouse whose original features are carefully integrated into the restoration by the owner, a heritage specialist, as a 'walk-back-in-time' experience. The Stanley 8 traditional stove and original hearth dominate the kitchen ( modern appliances are hidden). Two wood burning stoves are in the ground floor. The sitting room/bedroom has a toliet and sink behind a Victorian screen to facilitate guests for whom the original narrow stairs and upstairs Victorian cast iron bath with shower present challenge; available by prior arrangement, the utility shed has a pod with shower. A toliet and sink are under the kitchen stairs. The master bedroom and twin bedroom have sinks. Carrowcullen is set back from a quiet country road on a private lane with 14 acres of pastures; it is a working farm; fresh eggs are available. On the Wild Atlantic Way, access to the Sligo walking trails are minutes away. Failte Ireland Welcome Standard; a Hidden Ireland property
