Complete relaxation in this renovated farmhouse. Convenient to all things in Uwharrie National Forest. Property is very clean and updated. You will enjoy all of the new furniture, large family dining table, and spa-like bathroom. All of the conveniences of home. Great outdoor space with large deck, charcoal grill, and fire pit.
Plenty of outdoor space and lots of parking.
It's a great starting point to explore the area. Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, OHV trails, Horse trails, etc Conveniently located at the entrance to the forest. Sorry, no pets-no exceptions.

Everything was great! The only negative thing that didn't really affect me but might someone else was the fridge had a very off-putting odor. I'm not sure if something was left in there or if it was just the refrigeration unit, but the drinks I left in there did smell like it, so I wasn't keen on leaving any food in there. Would definitely recommend this house otherwise! Very close to the lake and honestly wish I could have booked a longer stay!

Just what we were looking for! The home was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable while visiting the area! It is in a nice quiet spot and private. The host was great! The property was perect for my friends and I. We of course were mostly out on the trails, but the house was clean and inviting. The outdoor firepit area was super nice and a great surprise.

Loved our stay at The Farmhouse! Proximity to the National Forest is amazing, and the house itself is charming and spotless. Kitchen could be a touch better equipped, given few restaurants close by, but that’s a bit, as the house is an outstanding find.

We stayed here for a work week while working in Troy. It was clean, comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting out on the front porch watching the cars go by and listening to the birds. We will be back.

Perfect location for running or hiking in Uwharrie Forest

This is an adorable and updated little house less than half a mile from the El Dorado Outpost. If you’re in town to run any of the Uwharrie Mountain trail races, this is a great location. The house is clean, nicely outfitted, and cozy.
