Fantastic location and great cottage!

The cottage was immaculately clean, cozy, and within a 10-minute drive of the city centre. Would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to anyone else who needs a place to stay while they’re in Derry. Also, being able to watch all the cows walk by our window in the evening was very cool!

Drumcorn Farm was the most wonderful stay. The house is clean, comfortable, and large. The home is close to town, yet surrounded by green rolling hills and friendly cattle. Newborn calves and their mothers rest comfortably in the nearby barns. The hosts provided us with much local knowledge and day trip ideas, maps, and tour books. Highly recommend this stay.

Elaine and Robert were amazing hosts. The house was spotless and very comfortable. We were able to sleep with the windows open and felt like we were at home. They checked in on us to see if we had any questions about the area or our trip in general. The house had lots of information about the area. We highly recommend this property. We will stay here again.

Farmhouse near downtown Londonderry

Very clean property with everything provided. The immersion heater was tricky but got the hang of it. The owners of the cottage very kinf and checked in with us to make sure we were set. Very quiet and relaxing stay and would stay again

We had a wonderful time in the cottage. The place is very clean, there are 3 good sized bedrooms, two doubles and one with 2 single beds. One of the doubles has a small shower room. The beds are comfy and already made up. There are enough towels, kitchen towels etc. The kitchen is fully equipped, with all appliances you can think of. In the kitchen there's a large table and chairs and a tv area with a couch and a chair. The storage area is filled with all the necessities like oils, sauces, herbs etc. There's a large living room with 2 comfy couches and two comfy chairs and a good sized tv. The whole house feels very welcoming and 'homy'. You can walk around the house, there's a 'path' and a small lawn. There's no outside furniture except for a bench. The hosts, Elaine and Robert, are very friendly and welcoming. The views from the house are sunning. you can see out onto the hills in every direction. The area is nice as well, lots to do!

We needed a single storey property with 2 bathrooms and facilities for children. We were absolutely delighted with this cottage…. Couldn’t be more perfect! Beautiful setting with views over the surrounding countryside and amazing gardens for little ones to explore. The neighbouring cows were of great interest to our little one and the whole place was perfect for her as it was very clean and safe for her to explore. Elaine was so lovely and welcoming.. she provided us with directions to the church where we were attending a family wedding and went out of her way to help with anything we needed. The photographs really can’t do the place justice .. it was so quiet and peaceful but not too far from shops etc if needed! Added bonus was .. Tesco deliver!!!! Loved everything about it.. will definitely be back!! Thank you Elaine!! Did I mention the beds were so comfortable and the showers were fantastic!!!

A lovely Stop on our Roadtrip threw Ireland

The Cottage, with its rustic Charme inside and all Equipment you need for a 10 Person household was just perfekt ! Our hosts Elaine and Robert were very friendly and helpful with many good hints about hidden gems like restaurants and "have to see" places.. We leave with hundreds of new friends... "Home is where the herd is" :-) .. Everytime again, thx for the lovely days!!

Favorite place in Ireland

This farm could be my forever home. The house is spotless and warmly furnished for cozy comfort yet conveniently modern. Large picture windows look out on green pastures with grazing cows and one lucky bull. Elaine and Robert are so friendly and gladly share their stories about Irish farm life. Robert is fifth generation farmer on this historic property. Of all the places we stayed, Drumcorn Farm is definitely our favorite.

Charming

Loved our stay. Clean, comfortable and very well stocked pantry. Close to Derry, but in the country side for privacy and quiet. Elaine and Robert could not have been more accommodating. Elaine went above and beyond with her recommendations. Maps, guide books and printed material from the internet. Staying with Robert and Elaine was just like being in our own home.

July Break

This property was an excellent base to explore Londonderry and surrounding area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is also well stocked with utensils and we found we had everything we needed. It felt like a real home from home. Our daughters especially enjoyed seeing the dairy cows outside the windows ! Robert and Elaine were extremely welcoming and helpful. Their advice about the local area was invaluable . We would love to visit Ireland again and would definitely stay here .

Couldn’t have asked for more

When we arrived it was freezing cold outside but Elaine had already put the heating on, which made it feel cosy and homely, she left milk in the fridge and a cake on the side. The property was spotless and more spacious than we thought and very well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. It’s very close to the town and easy to get to. We had a flat tyre on the day we were leaving Elaine and Robert did everything could to get us going again. I’d highly recommend this property and Elaine & Robert as hosts you won’t be disappointed
