A lovey Victorian house with period features. Good well equipped kitchen, large rooms. Cots are provided but would be good to have another bed option for young children who have outgrown cots. The location was great our dog loved the beach.

Easter break

The house was a lovely spacious belle epoque house, with a mixture of nice features and tasteful.decorations and all the.contempory mod.installments. The sea is.nearby we had a lovely time.

Beautiful House, Perfect Location, Wonderful Holiday!

Three generations of my family enjoyed a wonderful week at Kathryn’s beautiful Beach House. The house is spacious, clean and welcoming. A real home-from-home. It is also very child-friendly with a beautiful garden, complete with seating area and toys for the children. The house is ideally situated for all local amenities, with the beautiful St Mildred’s Bay just minutes away. Kathryn was the perfect host and was always available to deal with any queries. Thank you, Kathryn, for helping to make our family holiday so special. We really did have the perfect week, and will be back!

Enjoyable week

We had an enjoyable week at the property which is in an excellent location for beach and amenities. Use of the beach cart was much appreciated and grandchildren spent many hours enjoying the sea. The welcome hamper was appreciated. The house is spacious with plenty room for a large group to gather, or to find their own quieter corners, with sufficient kitchen equipment to self-cater. Beds are comfortable, and standard of cleanliness is good. Some of the furnishings in the downstairs areas are becoming a bit tired but for the price we paid the rental was still very good value for money. Kathryn was a helpful host and communication was always prompt. Thank-you.

Brilliant British Staycation

The house was clean, spacious and well maintained. It was in a great location with ample shops just around the corner and close to many lovely bays. The local beach was literally at the end of the road but we preferred taking a short drive to some of the bays in Broadstairs; Stone, Joss and Botany Bays (watch out for the seagulls as they like to steal your lunch!). The local fish and chip shop was amazing as was the pizza place. We ate out at the Captain Digby in Broadstairs which served the most amazing scampi! We had a lovely welcome hamper on arrival at the house and the housekeeper popped by to give us fresh kitchen towels and ask if we needed anything but there was plenty of everything from bedding to towels, hand soap to kitchen essentials. All in all we had a brilliant time and wouldn’t hesitate to go back! Thanks guys

Westgate Christmas

The house was cosy and comfortable with lots of space for our group of 7. We liked the close proximity to the beach and the high street. We appreciated the good wifi and the TV that has been upgraded since the pictures were taken for the listing. Beds and bedding were warm and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped (though cutlery was not quite enough for a meal with more than one course). Some of the dining chairs have seen better days but we liked that not everything is in new condition, as it felt more like a family home. More hanging space would have been useful in the bedrooms and a lock on the main bathroom door would have been appreciated for our group.We enjoyed the lovely welcome hamper, the beautiful Christmas tree and excellent communication from the owner. We may be back!

Wonderful house in a wonderful location

We had a great holiday - minutes from the sea and just a few km walk to Margate. The house has great space and very comfortable - we spent a lot of time in the garden and the kitchen is very well equipped to cook for everyone! Thanks Kathryn

Great location

This house is just lovely. Very nicely decorated and good sized room plus a beautiful bathroom! Moments away from a local high street and the sea. Great coastal walks. Really recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic Break in Westgate

This property is perfect for a family getaway. Very close to the beach and amenities. It a very well appointed and everything you need is provided. Kathryn even left us a welcome hamper! Would highly recommend this property and will be booking again!
