Romeo Cottage is a lovely detached open plan charming cottage barn with traditional high vaulted beam ceiling. It has a spacious open plan ground floor living area complete with fitted kitchen & appliances, dining area with large table and 6 chairs, lounge section seating area with LCD Freeview TV with French doors opening onto a patio garden with paved and grass area and also a large luxury Hot Tub. Fitted white bathroom with corner shower, toilet & sink. Free unlimited Wi-Fi provided.

Outside is a large private luxury Hot Tub.

First floor mezzanine cottage bedroom: 6ft luxury super king size bed the cottage has a wealth of exposed natural beams & a quaint charming bedroom area complete with bedroom units. The first floor is carpeted. This superking bed can also be made as 2 singles.

Downstairs sleeping area partially screened off with twin beds. Romeo has everything a beautiful cottage should have including magnificent countryside views, this is a quaint cottage barn in natural surroundings with the added bonus of only being 5 minutes’ drive from the main town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The beauty of the countryside with the facilities of the town, perfect!

Also from Romeo’s terrace complete with garden patio furniture. The cottage comes complete with free view TV, free Wi-Fi connection, new gas central heating system, electric hob & oven, crockery, cutlery & utensils. Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, iron & ironing board. Hot water, central heating plus duvets with linen & towels are also provided.

Romeo is a beautiful cottage situated in a perfect location for visiting Stratford-upon-Avon and many local attractions. Romeo is within easy reach of Stratford-upon-Avon & Warwick and the historic market town of Henley-in-Arden, easy access to the motorway network. A select private cottage development. Set in the private grounds of Arden Hill Farm in an elevated position overlooking extensive and stunning countryside, with views extending as far as the Malvern Hills. Just 3 miles north of Stratford and close to several Shakespeare sites, including Mary Arden’s house, 1 mile, and the world renowned RSC.

In Stratford itself guided bus tours take visitors around the town, and boat trips on the river are popular for sightseeing. Golf, horse riding and gliding are all available locally. A visit to the historic county town of Warwick should not be missed with its magnificent medieval castle, and Kenilworth Castle is only a few miles further.

The track leading to the cottage is bumpy and full of potholes, checking in was easy - just a case of opening the key safe.First impressions were that it was as advertised (albeit slightly smaller than envisaged) with everything that you would need for a short break. However as our stay continued we noticed several issues:General maintenance of the building is poor, it needs painting internally throughout, the wooden panel under the oven door needs replacing, both the bathroom window (unable to open) and the french doors (very difficult to open) leading to the hot tub had visible gaps at the top of the frames. I think it should be closed for a week or so and refurbished. There were broken tiles next to the shower enclosure in the bathroom, the shower door had large gaps either side, we were unable to work out how to operate the smaller hand held shower head and water barely dribbled out of the larger 'rainfall' style one.Regarding the bedrooms I would get rid of the scatter cushions and sequined bed runners - both are unhygienic. We found the mattresses and pillows hard and the duvets heavy but then that is personal choice.Daylight floods the property first thing due to poorly fitting / no curtains.Small drain in the floor in the lounge?Too many 'nick nacks' (dress makers mannequin, bowls on windowsills etc.) Hot tub was great although there was quite a lot of traffic noise from the A3400 which proved difficult to pull out onto as the cars are doing 50mph.

Great location for Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick... lovely quiet garden with hot tub.. if you struggle with sleeping with too much light coming in this might not be the place for you especially in the Summer.

The cottage was pretty much as advertised. Had everything in it that you would need. Shower was great. If I had to say anything negative some of the decor was a little tired (picture was ripped, kitchen worktop chipped at the end, my partner cut his finger on it) and could probably do with a lick of paint and a few cobwebs removed but that's just me being picky.

Great potential with hot tub and a couple of miles from Stafford upon Avon but very much in need of repair and attention. Communication with the owner was excellent and someone was kind enough to receive a food delivery and put it in the fridge for us. We would return if the property was to be given some TLC.

This cottage is perfect for many types of groups to come families, friends, Groups all looking for a get away with private hot tub. We are great value for money and the cottage can sleep up to 5 guests. For opening up after covid its been a long time for groups to wait to go away and in preparation the cottage has just undergone a refurb with new carpet, new decor, new interior soft furnishings and a new bathroom area. Whats more spring is in the air with the outside patio with private hot tub all waiting guests. Cosy home from home

Small property but with all amenities including hot tub and reasonably well equipped kitchen. Single beds are within living area, separated by a board type wall and a curtain, so be warned about lack of privacy. Not sure where a 5th person would have stayed. However, warm and inviting.

Disappointing accommodation

We booked this property as we had read 5 star reviews and pictures indicated that the property would be 5 star. Very disappointed on arrival as sofa, kitchen and furnishings were dated and tired. On inspection, we discovered a former occupant’s sock, used facial wipes & other items. The place had clearly not been deep cleaned as per Covid requirements and certainly did not live up to our expectations.

Its a lovely cottage works great for people wanting a great value holiday away together. Where the cottage is located in a lovely farm complet it has the hot tub in a private area and the most stunning sun sets. You only have to drive 5 minutes to the main historic town of Stratford upoon Avon. with all its history and local amenities. Great walks along the canal and the river with rowing and cruising also great value. For the little sock we are sorry and we know your group had the most wonderful time with your friends at the hot tub cottage.
