Two supermarkets and a petrol station are just a five minute drive away. Montmorillon is an ideal place for a holiday or a stop-over, with the beautiful villages of Chauvigny, Angles-sur-Anglin and St. Savin all just a short drive away. Limoges Airport is just over an hour’s drive and the historic city of Poitiers with the added attraction of the Futuroscope theme park is a fifty minute drive.

Super friendly

We had an excellent stay. Beautiful old style french house. Very friendly and helpfull hosts who even booked us a table at a local restaurant. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Memorable visit

Can't recommend this property highly enough Richard and Yvonne have a beautifully prepared house close to the town centre, their attention to detail especially the breakfast is exemplary. our abiding memory of our stay will be the kindness of our hosts. We definitely want to return to discover the area in more detail

We had always planned to retire abroad but then Brexit happened and we had to bring our plans forward, so we now work in France with the Chambre d"hôte rather than having retired to France. But we wouldn't change it now. Living in France and meeting and chatting to our guests is really living the dream!
