Family Reunion

We stayed at Villa Mantilari for a large family reunion and it was more than what we could have expected. The hosts are extremely accommodating and responsive and the place is just magical. This has our highest recommendation.

Wonderful

Fabulous! Lots of space for everyone and also enough room for us all to eat together. Aristea and Angela are a highlight and appear with things from the garden almost daily. We really didn’t want to go anywhere!

Perfect

What an amazing Villa! We hosted 11 for my daughters wedding (on site!) and it was simply perfect. Great host and staff, whose love for the villa and the guests show - all around magnificent. Peaceful, great views, individual full suites, multiple group gathering areas and exactly as advertised. We hope to be back again!

Everything and more

We had a great stay at Villa Mantilari that hosted our wedding celebration. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We took many recommendations from ThinkVilla, from the car rental to wedding planner, that did not disappoint. It is such a beautiful property that pictures do not quite give it justice. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Just amazing

Absolutely stunning property, furninshed to a high standard and with bags of charm. Just perfect for 19 of us from 5 different families, everyone had their own space. Lots of locations around the villa that were perfect at different times of day and room for all of us to have lunch/dinner together. Eleni and team super helpful and responsive. Cleaning was very well done every day. Highly recommended!

Tuscany in Crete!

Magical Oasis with Glorious Views

This is the most spectacular place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived we felt pampered and spoiled with the most fine decor, foods, scenery, and friendly hosts. The grounds are tremendously cared for and breathtaking. We drank local wines and ate a range of fresh vegetables from the garden and cheeses available to us. The beds are delicious and there is ample space to lounge, play, read quietly. Our kids were in love with the two pools and even a playroom. It is also a perfect location to explore Knossos nearby. We did two other day trips to Spinalonga and Lasithi plateau, and we loved returning to this luxurious estate. The owners and cleaning staff helped with every need along the way. Truly, a delightful stay. We hope to return for a wedding someday!

An excellent stay at a beautiful property

We couldn’t recommend Villa Mantilari highly enough. From the booking process to when we arrived to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble. Eleni and her family made our stay perfect and the villa itself is out of this world. All the rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and have everything you could possibly need. Our party was a combination of adults and children and it worked perfectly for all of us. The 2 pools provided hours of entertainment and the views are simply breathtaking. The attention to detail really made our trip special and gave us all a much needed break.
