Our Stay!

We came with our friends as an early 60th birthday celebration for me. On arrival the Cottage was lovely & warm, the beds were made up with clean linen, the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Plenty of room for 6 x Adults, with extras such as the utility room which was ideal for cleaning our walking boots, 2 x fridges and a freezer, dishwasher etc.,. The Cottage was very remote, but I feel this added to the charm of our stay, the surrounding area was beautiful. We walked up Snowdon, went to Zipworld for activities, visited Betsy-co-Ed and also spent a good few hours at Portmeirion on our way home. So much to do in the local area, and for us, so little time to do everything! The seating area would have been a bit tight had there been 8 people, a suggestion could be to include two large bean-bags. The Cottage was lovely and clean on arrival and we all had a brilliant weekend. The price pppn for us was excellant, the Cottage was a very welcoming & warm refuge at the end of each busy and tiring day, and for all these points we are happy to give 5* ......and I would certainly recommend it to anyone. Excellent cottage in lovely, quiet location

Plenty of space and ideal that the three bedrooms are all en-suite. Bedlinen and towels provided, along with cleaning materials etc and also a welcome pack of milk, tea and coffee and some Welsh cake/biscuits. It's in the middle of nowhere, with no signs, so you really do need the directions, but these are excellent. Phone signal was pretty good and internet also not bad at all considering the location. We'd definitely return - it was an ideal place for meeting up with family. There are good restaurants nearby too and a local taxi company.
