Couple - 2 weeks in Sept 2018 Easy booking process and communication with owner.
We really enjoyed the spacious villa as our base to explore the area.
Thalia (2 bed) has fantastic views across the bay to the mountains, such a pleasure to admire when eating breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very private and secluded, not overlooked, huge pool (cleaned twice a week, along with the villa). We had clean towels/bed linen twice a week. The owner gave us great directions and we found the place no problem, about half hour from the airport. Wifi was good for us, however Kalamaki villas were not, all occupied at the time. I would recommend bringing a hairdryer, plenty of plug sockets near mirrors.
I wouldn't agree that the villas were wheelchair friendly, however everything inside the villa is on one floor, no way of getting down to the pool area. One one gripe for us, there was music/loud speakers from the Hotel Sunrise entertainment crew about half a mile away most evenings, a bit difficult to get away from. Would recommend a hire car, you cannot walk the local area from the villa. The approach road is a bit steep, windy and bumpy, however we have had worse. Petalidi is a lovely nearby village with some lovely tavernas, cafes and small shops. A church and a childrens playground. Market evening on Thursday. Suggest stocking up at Lidl on the way from airport. I would say it's lovely Greek area (as it should be) not touristy, if you are looking for lots of entertainment. We had a lovely meal at Platanos, just a few streets away up the top of the hill. We were shown into the kitchen to choose our meal. We like to eat early (ish), recommend arriving 8pm or later.
