This 1902 home sits in the heart of Baker City - nestled between the Wallowa Mountains to the east and the Blue Mountains to the west. You can take a day trip to our local ski resort, Anthony Lakes Ski Resort or the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. Older home, spacious with charm. Communication was excellent. Loved the king four-poster bed. If you like modern, this is not the choice for you. If you appreciate older things, you will feel comfortable in this space.

We love this house!

We’ve stayed at this place before, and the host has made this a fantastic spot to stay while in Baker! Her communication is outstanding, and the house is very clean and comfortable! Looking forward to staying here again!

Spacious, Comfortable place for a weekend stay

The home was comfortable and spacious. We had 6 adults sharing the space for a weekend to attend a local gathering. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and the space was welcoming. We enjoyed the nature and landscape photographs decorating the rooms throughout.

Darling vintage house

We stayed overnight as a waypoint on the road to the Oregon coast. The house was adorable with beautiful original antique elements. Four stars was because the back door is in the third bedroom with pretty sketchy “security” (it could easily be broken into) and my teenagers wouldn’t not stay in it.

Loose rugs, could cause falls for the elderly. Bath tubs had no non slip rugs or stick on tabs. This is just asking for a fall with the elderly.

my sisters and i had a reunion in baker city and stayed at teresas. this place is quiet, well outfitted for cooking and convienient to town. we walked a lot thru the shady neighborhood and felt very welcome. lovely place!

Turn of the century charm , close to a lake - I don’t think so. The house inside and out, was very unkept. Between the fallen branch and weeds, the tiles falling off the wall in the bathroom and taped broken glass, the house needs some TLC. Also, we were not told there would be people on the floor above and the notes on the back door that say “don’t lock,” our sense of security was shaken. And between the loud motor of the refrigerator and the poor quality of pillows, and our sense of security being in question, it was a restless stay. If I could have cancelled the 2nd day of our stay and get our money back, I would have. There is more that I could say, but you get the gist. It was obvious the owner does not take pride in her property or the comfort/safety of her guests. Old doesn’t mean shabby.
