A charming little house, with a beautiful, calm garden. It's close to all the sites in Veules. Nights are completely silent except for the sound of owls calling, which I loved. This is a nice old building, with kitchen updated and well equipped. Walking distance to restaurants, epicerie, boulangerie, pharmacie, plage and trails. Very easy checkin and good communication with host.

Could be stunning but too many negatives for the price

We struggled as to how to review this house fairly but honestly, as it could be incredible- fantastic location, beautiful garden with off road parking and generally beautifully decorated. But we felt that for the price paid we were let down by the cleanliness in some rooms and the facilities. The fridge should have been cleaner- there were little bits of food and yellow-ey liquid/stains under the storage drawers, and opened jars of pickles & mustard. To feel comfortable putting food in there I had to spend 45 mins cleaning it. Hearing we couldn't use any cleaning products except water on the kitchen worktops left me uneasy, not knowing whether there was bacteria from other guests food prep on them.There was orange staining inbetween many of the floor tiles in the bathroom, and the bath, sink and towel rail were also stained or chipped slightly. The listing maybe wasn't clear enough as I had assumed there would be a fixed shower over bath- it was just a handheld shower. Limescale buildup on the shower head, and it was hard to shower without getting water all over the floor, as just a linen curtain round part of the bath.The sofas were actually 2 single beds with toppers and lumpy cushions which weren't very comfortable. No overhead light in the double bedroom and the carpet upstairs was rough and uncomfortable to walk on. 1 plug socket in living room & 1 in bedroom not working. Could be amazing but not up to the standard we expected.

I'm sorry for such a comment that absolutely never happens. I believe that everything was clear in the advertisement and what you see as slight defects makes the charm of the house for other tenants. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce cottage normand et nous avons vraiment été ravis ! La décoration est très belle et pleine de charme, ainsi que le jardin, qui est particulièrement calme et reposant. L'ensemble des équipements et des besoins sont remplis pour une famille avec enfants.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le côté authentique du lieu et la rénovation respectueuse de cette petite maison patrimoniale du XVII propice au repos et à la déconnexion.Formidable !

Les photos de l'annonce correspondent à la réalité. L'emplacement est idéal (plage à 10 minutes à pieds).La possibilité de garer la voiture dans la propriété est la bienvenue. Les équipements et la literie sont de qualité. Les détails soignés de cette maison lui confèrent un charme fou. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Beau gîte. Salle de séjour très agréable.Il faudrait toutefois envisager double vitrage des fenêtres qui donnent sur le chemin qui est très fréquenté par les promeneurs.Salle de bains a rafraîchirCuisine fonctionnelle. Il manque micro onde et... mixeur pour faire velouté de cressonPouvoir entrer la voiture dans le terrain est un plus car le stationnement a veules l'été .. est un problème.

Charmant trifft es absolut. Das Haus ist freundlich, hell und unheimlich liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die zentrale Lage in Veules-Les-Roses und die Nähe zum Strand machen es zum perfekten Urlaubs-Refugium. Man hat alles, was man braucht und das Spiele-Sortiment ist der Hit! Und Grégoire ist super herzlich und super schnell, wenn man mal Fragen hat. 2x 5 Sterne auf ganzer Linie!

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in zauberhaftem Ort. Wunderschöner, abgeschlossener Garten mit privatem Parkplatz. Fussläufig zum Dorf ( Bäcker, Restaurants…) und Meer. Wer den Charme und die Besonderheiten alter Gebäude schätzt wird es lieben. Wir waren begeistert. Gut ausgestattete Küche, großes Wohnzimmer. Lediglich das Bad könnte eine Auffrischung vertragen. Duschen mit Handbrause in der Badewanne sitzend ist doch schon nicht so komfortabel. Dennoch absolute Empfehlung für dieses charmante alte Fachwerkhaus. Danke an Gregoire für dieses Kleinod.

Charmanter Anwesen…könnte etwas mehr Pflege im Haus und Garten gebrauchen.. Schön privat und ruhig. Baden/Duschen machen echt kein Spaß.geräumiges Wohnbereich.

Plein de charme !

Une maison où tout est choisi avec goût, une très grande cheminée fonctionnant parfaitement bien agréable pour un séjour en février, des hôtes réactifs même pour vous apporter une ampoule de rechange. Tout était parfait !Un excellent séjour dans un village lui aussi plein de charme.

Traditionelles Traumhaus in einem wunderschönen Dorf

Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer und die Ankunft vor Ort haben prima funktioniert. Als 4-köpfige Familie hatten wir genügend Platz in diesem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus. Parkplatz auf dem Gelände ist ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Der Garten ist großzügig mit Deckchairs, Sonnenliegen, Grill und einer Sitzecke mit Sonnenschirm ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt: total ruhig, nachts rauscht beruhigend im Hintergrund die Veules, alle Geschäfte im Dorf (und der Strand) sind fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Die Räumlichkeiten als auch die Einrichtung ist wie beschrieben bzw. wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Die einzigen "Mankos", die uns aufgefallen sind, sind die Badausstattung und der Raum, in dem sich das Doppelbett befindet. Das Schlafzimmer ist mit einer Holzverkleidung zum Flur und zum Bad abgeschlossen, d.h. es ist sehr hellhörig, wenn jemand das Bad benutzt oder durch den Flur geht. Auch tritt durch die Holzritzen viel Licht ein. Zudem ließ sich bei uns die Schlafzimmertür nicht schließen. Das Bad ist optisch passend zum Haus eingerichtet, allerdings fehlte uns eine "moderne" Waschtischarmatur mit Mischer schon sehr. Die Badewanne mit Löwenfüßen sieht stilvoll aus, allerdings setzt man bei der Benutzung (gerade bei größeren Personen) trotz Duschvorhang den Fußboden unter Wasser. Wir hatten Bettwäsche und Handtücher dazu bestellt, allerdings lagen bei Ankunft nur 4 große Badehandtücher auf dem Schrank. Das war etwas knapp bemessen. Fazit: Insgesamt ein tolles Haus!
