A beautiful apartment that felt like a home from home with much better views.

The apartment is extremely well equipped and nicely furnished. The views from the windows and the roof terrace over the old port were stunning and it was worth getting up early to watch the sunrise. There were plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance so if you didn’t feel like cooking you had plenty of choice. Be prepared for a climb up to the apartment. It is in an old building and there are a lot of steps up to the property, some well trodden over the years so could be challenging for anyone with even a slight mobility problem. It certainly proved a challenge and we were a lot fitter at the end of the holiday. Bastia is an interesting place to explore but it is very hilly. We didn’t hire a car and settled for a relaxing break instead of lots of sight seeing. We had hoped to use public transport but this proved difficult as it wasn’t wonderful. If you want to see the island I’d suggest hiring a car.

Notre séjour a été très agréable, la ville et ses habitants très sympathiques. Nous avons visité les environs soit à pieds, bus ou train. La location est très confortable et bien située. Le seul point noir; surtout pour nous qui sommes d'un âge avancé (de 70 à 86 ans) ce sont les escaliers hauts et irréguliers

Tolle Ferienwohnung in der Altstadt

Uns hat es sehr gut in der Wohnung gefallen, die Lage des Objekts ist der Hammer. Wenn es Fragen gab, war Alain immer über fewo-direkt erreichbar und hat schnell geantwortet. Die Wohnung ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Magnifique appartement en plein centre de Bastia

Appartement très agréable à vivre, bien équipé et idéalement situé à 1min du vieux port. Splendide terrasse sur les toits de lauze de Bastia. Parfait pour passer quelques jours à Bastia et rayonner sur le Cap Corse. Merci aux propriétaires qui ont été très arrangeants au niveau des horaires en cette période de crise sanitaire...

Situation idéale à 2 pas du port et de la Citadelle

Appt spacieux et très confortable. La terrasse est un petit bijoux. Prendre son temps pour monter les étages 😉 Communication très facile avec la propriétaire. Si la climatisation et le frigidaire pouvaient être en fonction qq heures avant l'arrivée ce serait IDEAL.

Très agréable!

L'appartement est très agréable à vivre en famille, la terrasse superbe. L'emplacement est parfait, l'accueil également. Attention néanmoins, l'accès avec de nombreuses marches, dans une rue piétonne n'est pas aisé pour tout le monde. Mais tout ça se mérite! Nous recommandons vivement!

Spacious apartment for agile guests

An extremely well-equipped and nice apartment (only missed a scewdriver to fasten the shower nozzle). The drawback - very steep stairs (93 steps to reach the roof terrace). The view from the terrace is fantastic, but the small metal folding chairs were very uncomfortable and didn't invite for a longer stay when the weather permitted. The beds were fine, the futon not so comfortable and difficult to unfold. A lot of noise from the street at night, but with the windows closed and the air conditioning on, we slept well and didn't hear anything. On the whole - a very nice apartment.

Wonderful top of the world experience

The apartment was not only large, well equipped and comfortably furnished but also very pleasing to an aesthetic eye. The view was stunning and the location very close to the shopping centre of Bastia and a short walk to the train station. The wifi was fast worked well. The owners were very kind and helpful with advice about arrival details and arranging a taxi on our departure. The only negative for guests could be the six flights of narrow winding stone stairs if guests have a problem with stairs or mountains of heavy luggage.

appartement confortable, fonctionnel et agréable à vivre, bien situé, vue imprenable

Le quartier où nous avons passé notre séjour se trouve dans la partie historique de Bastia, très bien situé proche des commerces etc... Il est plein de charme mais il est en cours de réhabilitation ( ravalement des façades des maisons) mais les travaux seront bientôt terminés. L' appartement que nous avons occupés est exactement comme il était décrit sur l'annonce. Cependant l'accès à la terrasse est quelque peu délicat : pour ouvrir et maintenir la porte vitrée (assez lourde) ouverte avec le système de blocage. L'accès à l'une des chambres présente une marche que l'on peut "oublier" et on est surpris en ouvrant la porte. A part ces petits détails matériels,le séjours s'est très bien passé, nous avons été très bien accueillis et nous pensons revenir.

Idéalement placé

Un appartement très bien situé, familial, spacieux, très bien équipé et très confortable. Une magnifique terrasse avec une vue splendide sur le port et la ville de Bastia. La navette gratuite passe au pied de l'immeuble. Les commerces et le marché (le samedi et dimanche) sont à proximité... nous avons apprécié la bibliothèque et le piano pour quelques bons moments de détente. Nous pouvons vraiment recommander cette location pour découvrir la Corse.

Appartement spacieux et reposant sur le Vieux P

L'appartement est complètement refait à neuf au dernier étage d'un vieil immeuble en centre ville et offre une vue imprenable sur le Vieux Port en terrasse. L'appartement est très confortable pour 6 et parfaitement bien équipé. Nous avons eu également de très bons contacts avec les propriétaires qui ont été très arrangeants. Je recommande vivement cet appartement pour vos vacances !

Nous garderons de très bons souvenirs de notre séjour dans votre appartement - les vues de la salle de séjour étaient si belles, surtout au lever du soleil. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié l'ambiance du vieux port.
