We are so glad that you had an enjoyable stay in our flat. Thank you for your kind words. We hope you enjoyed the magnificent views across Hyndland and to the mountains, which most guests find are well worth the extra steps. During summer we find it especially beautiful and very relaxing looking out the turret windows watching the lawn bowling at the Hyndland Bowling Green! We are fortunate that the flat does not have an immediate view out into other flats as is so common with tenement flats, and therefore has privacy that is rare to find. Also we now offer self check-in which has been great for our guests. We hope to welcome you back and send you our very best wishes.

In the summer time it's especially beautiful and very relaxing looking out the turret windows onto the expansive view or watching the lawn bowling at the Hyndland Bowling Green instead of a view looking out on other flats. Also, all tenement flats were built at the turn of the last century and have their original wooden floors which inherently can make noise. We have carpets in all the rooms and wall to wall carpeting in the bedrooms to help buffer the sound while preserving the architectural integrity of the flat. There is a knife sharpener in the kitchen drawer, but thank you for letting us know they needed sharpening and they are now sharp and ready for use. Also, we are sorry you experienced low shower pressure; as with older flats in Glasgow, if you are running two or more large water usage devices (washing machine, dishwasher, shower or kitchen sink) at the same time it will directly affect the water pressure. We will also check the radios as they were all working before your stay. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in our home and all the details and amenities we have added to make it extra special. We are so very sorry to hear about this issue, which we first learned about in your review. We have never had any issue like this with our past guests or ourselves, so we were quite worried when we read your review and immediately contacted you by email for more details. It was a relief to hear from you by email that this issue was actually not in the flat, but only the hallway, and was a temporary situation due to humidity. Thank you so much for clarifying that for us, as we were very worried! Our building factor has also confirmed this was a temporary issue and has been corrected.
