Sunny Secret Garden Cottage. A cosy home hidden behind a stone wall. Enter through the wooden gate in the wall to be amazed. You won't be disappointed. The rambling cottage garden is a pleasant surprise. Well behaved smaller dogs accepted.
This really is a unique place. Sunny south facing garden. Enjoy the natural cottage style garden. Alphington is the perfect Village from which to explore Devon. Close enough to walk into Exeter City yet a short drive to stunning countryside and beaches. Perfect location for walkers. Short walk to a lovely local pub/restaurant which serves home cooked food. Everything you could want is on your doorstep.
Alphington is a quiet village on the outskirts of Exeter. Located on the West side of the river. The city centre end of Alphington includes Haven Banks and the Quayside (see area guide). At the opposite end, there is easy access to the A379 to Plymouth or Dawlish.
This really is the perfect position. Easy access into Exeter Town Centre yet not far from stunning beaches and Dartmoor.Bus stop close by goes in to Exeter every 10 minutes. Or take a leisurely walk by the river. Stopping off in a riverside cafe/restaurant.
Local Pub, shop and pharmacy 1 minutes walk away or choose Lidl (5 mins walk) or Sainsbury's also close by.

Please be aware there is a pond in the garden.

Sehr gemütlich und sauber. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Exeter und die Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lovely, comfortable house

We loved the power shower and the really easy to use central heating controller (we occasionally used it in the morning). The kitchen was well stocked, the bedding and house were clean, comfortable beds and the key system easy to use.

Really lovely house

Such a lovely, warm home, full of interest (intriguing architecture, old wooden furniture, ceramics, books), really comfy sofas, charming wildlife-friendly garden.. liked it so much it's influenced how we have our own home! Right next to an OK pub with decent food though otherwise the area doesn't have a lot else going on. However v quick to get out to Dartmoor/go into the city centre, so works as a base.
