Completely renovated, pretty stone cottage with large garden and swimming pool.
Les Fardines is a traditional stone built cottage, situated 3km from the hamlet of Puy d’Arnac and 7 km from the small market town of Meyssac. From it’s elevated position with stunning views down the Sourdoire Valley, you can just see the towers of Curemonte’s Chateaux in the distance.
The house offers 2500 m² of grounds, a private heated swimming pool with Roman end and is the ideal choice for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the countryside. Fully fenced, it is also an ideal place for those who wish to bring their pets!

A great stay in beautiful Dordogne

Gilly is a lovely host. The house is very cosy, you have everything you need. Garden and Pool are great with beautiful view. We die some stunning hikes.

Great holiday location

Great house to stay in and much bigger than I expected. Perfect size for a family of 4/5. Everything you could need, and the fans were welcome on warm nights. Great communication with Gilly before and throughout our stay. The pool and bbq were fantastic, just a shame the weather wasn't as hot as usual!

A beautiful property pearched on a hillside in the valley - amazing views , walks and pool to cool off in. Perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and chill out for a bit .

Gîte 'Les Fardines' avec pool

Great location with a beautiful view; many attraction of this part of the valley Dordogne can be reached in less than 45min by car. Very friendly and helpful host who knows all secret hot spots of the region; responsive and well reachable before and during the stay. We will come back.

Mooi en rustig plekje

We had a great time. A great place, quitte, nice, beautiful and best pool. The house is realy good. But we hope they wil fix the small things around the house. The kitchen is basic and not really for small kids. But with it al the best time. Our dog loved the place.

Beautiful Dordogne stay

Just had the most amazing week at Gilly and Tim’s holiday house in the Dordogne. The house is perfect! We had everything we needed! We especially enjoyed afternoons in the pool after a morning exploring. Such a lovely setting! The house is in a great area, perfect for exploring some of the most beautiful villages in France. We particularly enjoyed Beuilieu, and a canoe trip on the Dordogne. Rocamadour and the Padirac caves were a good day out. Really recommend the walk from Loubressac to Autoire, and a visit to the beautiful villages Turenne, Carennac, Curemonte, Martel and Colonge la Rouge. Just the pefect house in the most perfect location! Really hope we can go back one day!

We arrived during a heatwave, so whole property was very hot.Fortunately there was only two us so we chose to sleep in the lower bedroom as the attic room was unbearable.The host provided a heavy portable A/C unit which we placed in our bedroom which did help us in the evening, but the rest of the gite including the living room was also very hot...The big positive was having swimming pool to cool off in during the heatwave, but strangely no pool towels where provided ? Our host Gilly was attentive , goid comms and available throughout our stay.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and managed to stay cool- with the increased number of heatwaves we plan to install air conditioning for next year. Regarding pool towels we found we were having to replace them every year so do not provide them- we do however have spare ones which we offered to provide but as you had your own beach towels you said this was not necessary.

Bonjour Thierry, Je suis contente que vous avez apprécié notre maison. La piscine est bien chauffée et la pompe à chaleur a tourné pendant tout votre séjour. Il y a aussi une bâche d’été pour aider à garder le température. En mai c’est le tout début de la saison (nos piscines sont ouvertes à partir de début mai) et malheureusement la météo n’était pas très bonne pendant votre séjour donc la température avait du mal à monter au delà de 24 degrés.

Die Lage des Hauses und ihre Aussicht waren prächtig. Der Garten war super für unsere 2 sehr lebendigen Hunde, weil er eingezäunt und groß war! Es gab auch viel in der Umgebung zu machen.Das Haus selbst ist klein und unten gemütlich. Oben sah etwas abgewohnt aus. Sah dunkel aus und könnte aufgefrischt werden. War nicht so einladend wie gehofft. Die Küche war aber für ein Ferienhaus gut ausgestattet.Das Pool war sehr schön und erlaubte uns viel Zeit draußen zu verbringen.Gilly war sehr nett, und hat uns gegenüber eine entspannte Atmosphäre ausgestrahlt! Der Urlaub insgesamt war sehr schön!

Malgré la météo capricieuse, nous avons passé une excellente semaine avec nos petits enfants qui ont adoré la belle piscine. La maison conforme à la description est très bien agencée, une grande cuisine, un salon accueillant et des chambres dotées d’une excellente literie. Bien située, au calme, nous avons pu, au départ de cette belle maison, visiter les sites remarquables de cette superbe région.Nous avons regretté de n’avoir pas un peu plus de vaisselle et de couverts (nous étions 5) ce qui nous aurait permis de limiter l’utilisation du lave-vaisselle.Autre point concernant la piscine, les dalles entourant le bassin auraient besoin d’être rescellées, certaines sont bancales et le ciment qui s’effrite tombe au fond de la piscine, le robot à disposition a bien du mal à tout ramasser.

Heerlijk rustig gelegen comfortabel huisje met heerlijk verwarmd zwembad. Precies wat we zochten: weg van de drukte van de dag. Vergeten welke dag van de week het nou is. Fantastisch voor fietstochten: als je van wielrennen en klimmen houdt kan je in 60 km 1500 hm maken (met ook hellingen 10-15%). Maar ook tochtjes van 45 km met 900 hm mogelijk (met geleidelijk oplopende hellingen 4-6%).Zelfs hardlopen 10-15 km kan (wel wat hoogtemeters ook).Uit eten in Collognes en Argentat aan de Dordogne of wijn proeven in Branceilles (1001 Pierres). Aangename woonkamer en terras.

Week-end prolongé

Nous avons été vraiment bien reçu, le logement est cossu dans un écrin de verdure, sans vis-à-vis, avec une propriétaire dont la préoccupation est que vous passiez le meilleur séjour possible. Un classeur est même à disposition pour vous donner des idées de visites/balades etc. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la simplicité de l'accueil. Merci pour tout nous avons passé vraiment un agréable moment.

Séjour en Corrèze

Séjour pendant la semaine de canicule. Heureusement que la piscine était là Lieu très agréable dans un super cadre au calme. Jolis villages à visiter comme Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Curemonte et Collonges la rouge. La Dordogne a proximité, permet de profiter des sports nautiques tels que le canoë, le paddle…

Semaine en Corrèze

Malgré la météo un peu capricieuse, nous avons passé une belle semaine dans ce gîte. Il est propre, spacieux, bien aménagé et se situe dans un endroit très calme tout en étant proche de sites remarquables.

Nature, piscine et tranquillité

Propriétaires aussi gentils et accueillants que cette maison en pleine nature est propice aux vacances réussies. Mes filles de 11 et 15ans ont passé leur vie dans la piscine et notre chien a pu se royaumer tout le séjour dans un terrain parfaitement clos. C’était parfait.
