Charming and convenient

Apartment style guest house attached to private home. Photo shows layout. Fine construction and appointments. Mission style charm, with modern comforts. Home is on half acre, lush desert landscape. Close to shops, but you wouldn't know it while sitting on your private covered patio. Desert landscape active with wildlife and birds.

NOTE: Stove is induction. Induction might be a concern for anyone with a pace maker. Basically, the cooktop does not heat, but magnetic induction causes the pot to heat. Modern, upscale cooking. Nice for fast, precise cooking.

A Desert Oasis

Cleanliness, comfort and convenience are the three C’s of property rentals. This wonderful apartment offers the three C’s and much, much more. The home is immaculate and is regularly cleaned during the stay . The home is well equipped with many state of the art appliances and amenities. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful with lovely plants and wildlife. The views are spectacular. The owners are attentive, responsive and considerate. They are very mindful of the renters privacy while still being friendly and neighborly. It is a wonderful choice for a stay in Tucson.

Absolute comfort in an immaculate apartment

Staying in Christian and Salud's apartment was a most enjoyable experience in all respects. Starting with the unit itself, it is roomy, bright and absolutely immaculate. The care and attention Christian gives it was unbelievable, and something I doubt that you will find in any other VRBO rental. Where else would you have fresh bed linen and towels twice a week and floors swept and mopped weekly? Bedroom is large, bathroom is large, same with kitchen and dining/ living area and, to add to it all is the den, with very strong WiFi. Add to this a good selection of basic items in the fridge and cupboards to get you through your first day, which is great if you arrive late and don't feel like starting off with a trip to the supermarkets. And now to the hosts, Christian and Salud. A lovely couple who, on top of providing such an immaculate environment (can't express this enough), are ready to either let you have your complete privacy if that is what you wish, but just as ready to sit down with you for enjoyable and rewarding "chats". Salud also bakes great blueberry muffins! You will have the opportunity to see a good selection of wildlife, either at the bird feeder or passing through, like bobcat and coyote. The unit was actually designed and equipped for disabled visitors so, if you are in need of the relevant accommodating, you won't find anything to match it, but it is equally perfect for those who do not require accommodations. Do yourself a favour. Make the experience and book it. You will be glad that you did.

Quiet and convenient

We spent a month here as a base to explore Tucson and its surroundings. An ideal location, close enough to the centre, near enough to the desert, convenient for the shops. The host was very attentive and helpful. The house was quiet, situated in a urban garden that was frequented by a myriad of birds and other wildlife
