Excellent property.

Only negatives was that the washer and dryer on a separate floors. Also there were no English channels available on the TV. Make sure Joanna shows you how to operate the HC, the TV, the washer/dryer and the stove top.

A beautiful Villa

Loved the villa, although we had some distressing new from back home it was extremely comforting to be in such a lovely villa, we didn’t need to go out as everything was there down to the smallest detail. So hospitable with all the little things they had given us from hand wash in the bathroom and plenty of toilet rolls to washing liquid for the washing machine even coals and lighting blocks for the barbecue . The pool was fantastic it was just the right temperature as I do not like cold pools! Plenty of outdoor space for children they have thought of everything!! The only downside was that there was no direct access to the pool from the house you had to go out the front door and around the back to the pool but at least you get some exercise. I would love to go back. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa Joanna sehr genossen. Joanna nahm uns zur Schlüsselübergabe in Empfang und gab uns eine Führung durch das Objekt. Ein kleines Willkommenspräsent (u.a. Raki, Wein, frische Pfirsiche aus dem Garten) hatte sie auch bereitgestellt. Sie war jederzeit erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen oder Probleme hatten. VIELEN DANK FÜR ALLES! Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass man zwingend einen Mietwagen braucht, denn fußläufig ist hier nicht wirklich was zu erreichen.

Toller Familienurlaub über Pfingsten

Wir hatten die "Villa Joanna" Ende Mai bis Anfang Juni für 2 Wochen gebucht. Das Wetter war nicht zu überbieten und wir hatten 14 Tage etwa 28 Grad, ausschließlich blauen Himmel und keinen einzigen Regentag. Von der 1. Kontaktaufnahme bis zur Abreise hat alles hervorragend geklappt und war perfekt organisiert. Sowohl der verantwortliche Manager (Kostas) von etouri, als auch die Besitzerin Joanna, waren immer freundlich und erreichbar, gaben schnell Antworten auf unsere Fragen und standen sowohl vor dem Aufenthalt für klärende Fragen, als auch während des Aufenthalts zu unserer Verfügung. Die Villa ist einfach traumhaft und bietet genug Platz für 3-4 Parteien. Wir waren anfangs 3 Familien (5 Erw. + 4 Kinder) und hatten genug Platz, in der 2. Woche nur noch 2 Familien. Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad, eine eigene Terrasse und ist klimatisiert. Für 2 Familien war die Villa gefühlt fast zu groß - Luxusprobleme ;-) Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass die Villa alle 3 Tage gereinigt wird, Bettlaken und Hand-/Badetücher getauscht werden. Das gesamte Anwesen wirkt sehr gepflegt und sauber - täglich kommt jemand um den Außenbereich zu begutachten und den Pool zu reinigen. Wir hatten die Poolheizung gebucht und waren letztendlich froh, da sich die Kinder (Alter: 3 bis 5 Jahre) aufgrund der Wassertemperatur von ca. 27-28 Grad sehr wohl gefühlt haben und kaum aus dem Wasser zu bekommen waren. Hervorzuheben ist auch der Concierge-Service von etouri von 8 - 21 Uhr, welcher direkt über das Telefon im Haus angerufen werden kann und hilfreiche Tipps geben kann, Reservierungen für Restaurants vornimmt, Taxen bestellt etc. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, dass man hin und wieder auch etwas kochen kann, mittags Sandwiches zubereiten kann und sauberes Trinkqasser aus der Filteranlage bekommt. Der Grillplatz unten am Pool ist schön um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Hier wäre noch ein kleiner Kühlschrank von Vorteil ;-) Ein Highlight ist die große Terrasse (ca. 30 qm) oben im 1. OG mit Blick aufs Meer und der Möglichkeit die Sonnenuntergänge zu beobachten. Vielen Dank für alles! Fazit: Klare Empfehlung!

Villa Joanna - very enjoyable trip

We had a such a great time in the Villa Joanna in Mid October. When the sun was shining, we and especially the kids enjoyed the pool (which we heated) and outdoor playground a lot. Also the outdoor barbecue area is very nice! The location of the villa is also very good as there were plenty of things do within a 30min drive during cloudy days. Ioanna and the Etouri Team were very friendly and every request was addressed and solved quickly on the same day (we initially had some issues with the pool heating and hot water). Thanks for a great time!

Der Urlaub war Super Das Haus, Garten und Pool waren auch super. Wir würden sehr gerne noch einmal dort Urlaub machen. Super schöner Familien Urlaub in einem kleinen Paradies

Meine Familie und ich stammen aus Kreta und wir wollten mal auf einer anderen Ecke von Kreta Urlaub machen. Villa Joanna war der perfekte Ort dafür. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Top Ausstattung. Ideale Nähe ins Zentrum von Rethymno. Die Anlage ist super schön wie ein kleines Paradies. Der Pool ist super schön und lädt zum Entspannen ein - auch der Kinderpool ist top und perfekt für den Urlaub mit Kindern. Alles war super sauber. Ein Aufenthalt in der Villa Joanna ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Der Aufenthalt in der Villa Joanna im September 2020 hat alle unsere Erwartungen , die wir seit einem Jahr seit dem wir die Villa gebucht hatten voll erfüllt . Great holiday

A perfect spacious villa for our family holiday. All facilities were great, with highchair and children's play area fantastic for 1 year old. The kitchen area and equipment was superb. All rooms were great size with a beautiful outside bbq area with several seating areas around the villa. I would highly recommend this villa to anybody wanting to visit Crete, especially those who have small children. A car is definitely essential as you need to drive to supermarkets and shops. There is a Lidl nearby, around 10-15 minutes away which was great!!

Large house with great pool

We traveled with 3 adults and 2 children and this house was perfect (was due to have 2 more adults travelling) - the pool area was stand out for the children with a paddling pool as well as the main pool which was always nice and warm. The house is a short drive to the main highway and then onto any attractions and beaches. Unfortunately there is no shops/cafes etc in walking distance. Overall we had a great stay and the house was very clean, large and owners easy to contact.

A fantastic villa!

Our stay at Villa Joanna was simply amazing. The Villa was very well equipped with great facilities. As we had a 3 generation holiday, it was important for us to have plenty of space for grandparents as well as the children. The garden and pool area was particularly special with lots of entertainment for the children. The pool was a great size and depth enabling the adults to swim as well as the children being able to play and swim safely. The owner checked us in when we arrived and very kindly arranged for an initial grocery order so we had a stocked fridge to get us started! The service from etouri (the rental company) was the best we’ve ever experienced on holiday. Etouri checked in on us frequently, suggesting places to go and things to do. They arranged a complimentary visit to Baja Beach club for the day which was excellent (this included access to all facilities, 7 sun beds, complimentary bottle of Prosecco, soft drinks and a fruit platter). Etouri also arranged the best deep tissue massages we’ve ever had with a masseuse who came to the Villa. The Villa was cleaned every 3 days with a change of towels and sheets. The pool was cleaned every other day too. We will definitely recommend this Villa and we will ourselves be returning again at some point soon. A beautiful island with great food and so much to do and see.

Ongelofelijk wat een mooi huis en wat een service. Bij aankomst verwelkomt en de koelkast gevuld met de eerste benodigdheden . Alles is er van kruiden tot koffiefilters. Alle keuken apparatuur van koudwatermachine tot blender. Elke dag word het zwembad schoongemaakt voor je wakker word. Halverwege de week schone handdoeken. Echt een grote verwennerij. Zeker een aanrader👍👍👍👍👍*****
