Quiet neighborhood, beautiful surroundings

No complaints - 2nd level spacious bedroom with fantastic view of nature. Quiet neighborhood, parking. Good spot to visit tulip experiences. Lovely yard, complete with a peahen looking for a peacock :-). Clean, comfortable.

Great holiday home

Very impressed by the location and size of the house. It's ideal for cycling into Leiden to save using a car. Owner helpful in all responses and in lending us his bikes at no extra cost. Also lovely to arrive to find some welcome snacks, fruit and drinks provided. Fabulous TV in the lounge kept the kids happy whilst we made dinners! Only surprise was we didn't realise the bathroom was downstairs. This wasn't an issue for us although it is a real pity there's no upstairs toilet (and there's plenty of space for one). The property would hugely benefit from having more crockery though as there's only 6 plates and 2 cereal bowls, and the cupboards being cleared & cleaned of old food supplies from previous guests. Overall, apart from the inevitable mosquitos from being near the water, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Ein schönes Haus mit einigen Schwächen. Es ist ein älteres Haus, was man an einigen Bereichen auch sieht. Das Bad und die Küche sind sehr alt und das sieht und merkt man auch. Geschirr und Gläser sind kaum vorhanden und leider auch oft kaputt. Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer sind neu renoviert und sehr schön. Zusätzlich stehen Fahrräder, kanu, tischtennisplatte und Stand Up zur Verfügung. Auch diese Sachen sind leider alt und ziemlich kaputt. Man merkt, dass es ein Haus ist, was mal jmd bewohnt hat und nun nicht mehr nutzt. Fazit mit ein wenig mehr Beachtung der Ausstattung könnte es toll sein.

Da wir die Gastgeber nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben können wir uns kein Urteil erlauben aber der Obstkorb , Getränke und Schokolade war eine gelungene Überraschung. Leider fehlte in der Küche ein Toaster und eine Pfanne. Das Geschirr reichte für 2 Personen. Das Badezimmer mit Wanne ist so alt, gefühlt wie das Haus. Die Beleuchtung im Badezimmer dunkel und deshalb nicht einladend. Die Treppe im Wohnraum sehr steil und ohne Handlauf. Ansonsten ein schönes Haus mit viel Potenzial.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage. Für die Familie prima geeignet. Perfekter Startpunkt für Trips in die Umgebung. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Gerne wieder.

Schöner Urlaub

Haus und Garten gut

Allein der Fluglärm hat eine Erwähnung verdient; man kann ihn aber nach gewisser Zeit ignorieren. Haben Haus und Garten genossen, wie auch die gute Busverbindung nach Leiden und von dort gut und schnell in alle Richtungen mit den guten Zugverbindungen.
