About Kirsti Ladegaard
I am a fifty year old stage artist and puppet maker. I have lived in my lovely flat for allmost ten years now. I love this old part of Oslo between Grünerløkka and Tøyen, with its urban 1900 century buildings, lively neighbourhood, the best parks in Oslo, and walking distance to "everything". I grew up in a small town on the south coast of Norway, but I have lived in Oslo for most of my adult. I love my place in Oslo, and I will do my best to make you like it too, and feel at home. Welcome!
Kirsti Ladegaard purchased this apartment in 2011
Why Kirsti Ladegaard chose Grunerlokka
The apartment is located on the lower part of Grünerløkka, in a quiet side-street, with many shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and three parks close by. It’s a two min walk to the city river, Akerselva, where you can stroll along a green path beside the river, or rent a bike and ride along the river all the way to Maridalen, an approx. 9 km tour. The lovely Botanical Garden is my nearest neighbour, and right across the garden, you’ll find the famous Munch Museum.
What makes this apartment unique
I love the spirit of this old building, and the fact that I stare into a huge tree crown from every window in the flat. A crow couple is building a nest high up in one of them, I can study their work from my living room window. Nice!
