A pleasant gîte with veranda and garden in the Bocage countryside
Enjoy a stay in the Normandy countryside in this functional and authentic gîte. You will enjoy meals in the bright veranda with a view of the landscape and evenings by the fireplace in the living room. The large garden will be appreciated for its swing or ball games. Nearby, many activities are available to you: swimming at the aquatic center at 15 minutes or in the lake at 20 minutes, hiking, bungee jumping at 10 minutes, river fishing. The major Normandy tourist sites are accessible around 1 hour away: Mont Saint Michel, Landing beaches, etc.

The gite is in a lovely rural setting in a beautiful area. However, the accommodation is rather tired and unloved. For a little investment great improvements could be made eg an outside seating area. There is access to many interesting and pretty places.

Fabulous find

Fantastic quiet rural location yet close to all tourist attractions. Could watch sunrise and then sit looking at the stars with no light pollution. Everything you need in fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Great for couples, families or friends. We do not speak much French but communication with the owner very easy. Cannot recommend highly enough.

When we arrived at the property, we knocked on the door and another family answered. After a moment the host arrived and ushered us away to another property about 150m away. This property was nowhere near as nice and not clean. No explanation or advance warning.

A great find.

Some what going back in time. Yet would not change. A house, Gite, which warms your soul. We all had a very peaceful time. It was the large table in the kitchen that did it for me. I wish to return, also my Daughter and son. Please don't change a thing as we all loved it in many different ways. Host wonderful.
