Beautiful location

We had a brilliant holiday at Lochhead Cottage. The location is incredible, so peaceful with stunning views. We took advantage of the fishing permits although we didn't catch anything,we canoed and kayaked on the loch and saw loads of wildlife such as seals, deer, minks, herons, buzzards and red squirrels. We explored the local area and ventured further afield to Glencoe and Fort William. We did a wildlife ribride and saw more wildlife including a sea eagle, red deer and porpoise. The cottage was comfortable and warm with plenty of storage. The kitchen was really well equipped. The few things that could have improved on our stay was a better shower, the water didn't really do much more than dribble out thankfully there is a bath upstairs so it wasnt a huge problem but a lengthy process for 5 guests! A Tumble Dryer would be a great addition too as we struggled to get wet clothes dry on some days; other than an initial cost usage would be paid for by the guests as all elecricty is an extra, which is a little unusual too. The pillows had seen better days too and could do with being replaced. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Idyllische locatie

Prachtige locatie, vriendelijke eigenaars, mooi domein met leuke wandelingen, leuk (zo goed als privé) strand mét zeehonden in het wild, meerdere herten gezien, zee-arenden gespot, .... Enige negatieve was de geur in het huis, waarschijnlijk ten gevolge van het kamerbreed tapijt. Het was op zich schoongemaakt, maar er waren vlekken op het tapijt, spinnenwebben, dieren hoorbaar op de zolder (muizen? ratten? iets anders?)....
