Villa Annetta is located in Pistis, at the entrance to Marina di Arbus, on the beautiful and unspoiled Costa Verde, Pistis boasts charming coves and a beach nearly three kilometres long with some of the tallest sand dunes in Europe. In the area, you’ll find the Fronte Mari Restaurant and the beach club with a kiosk and umbrellas.
A car with a full tank of gas is essential for this part of Sardinia.
A 5-minute drive away is the Dessi brothers’ mini-market; less than 10 minutes away is Marceddì, a small fishing village with three traditional seafood restaurants serving fish that’s always fresh, caught that morning in the lagoon.
From Pistis, you can easily reach the enchanting beaches of the Costa Verde: Pistis, Torre dei Corsari, Porto Palma, Funtanazza, Gutturu, Flumini, and Portu Maga, Piscinas, and Scivu; within an hour’s drive, you’ll reach Is Aruttas, the “rice grain” beach, near Oristano. Every day you can visit a different wonder.
Heading inland, you can visit the Montevecchio mines, a rare example of industrial archaeology, and, about an hour and a half away, Barumini, home to Sardinia’s largest Nuragic village.
