About the host

Host profile image
I moved from Michigan to Cody, Wyoming in 1983. I have been a Host with VRBO for many years. I had two vacation rentals from 2011 until 2020 in Wyoming. During that time I also had a VRBO for a couple of years here in Kingston. While in Cody I owned and operated an Overnight Horse Boarding Facility, among other interesting business ventures. In Wyoming my guests would bring their horses and rigs from all over the United States just to ride in and around Yellowstone and the spectacular Wapiti Valley! I truly loved riding in the mountains with my guests with horses being my true passion. I moved to Kingston in 2021 to be near my family and again started another short term rental here in Kingston with VRBO in 2025. Now I not only have my family and the mountains; but also the Puget Sound in my backyard. I have truly grown to love the Pacific Northwest too!

Why they chose this property

The property is in walking distance to downtown Kingston with restaurants, a farmers market and concerts in the park. There are also tennis and pickleball courts and a playground almost across the street. So much to do in such a little town not to mention two ferries with one taking you right into downtown Seattle without having to drive!

What makes this property unique

The property is most antique in that it is situated on Kingston Cove where my guests can Kayak right from my dock. They can also enjoy sitting by the water overlooking Mount Rainier and the Kingston Cove Marina.
