What a beautiful property with deep rustic charm and great aesthetic taste. Comfortable and spacious, it had everything we needed. Our host Francesca was very responsive to our various requests. For guests visiting, you'll be aided greatly by having a car. You'll be about 10-15 mins from the nearest grocery store and restaurants, so build in time for provisioning before or soon after you arrive. Ongarine cafe/bar and Italia Trattoria Pizzeria in Quinzano were so good we went to both of them twice! and Ca' Pigneto winery a couple minutes down the road was a don't-miss highlight of our trip.

The pictures don’t do this place justice. The house and the grounds are absolutely magical. Not only is the house beautiful, but it’s comfortable and has everything we needed for our stay. Our host, Francesca, was warm and extremely responsive. We stayed for a month and didn’t want to leave. Hope to go back again soon.

Spacious retreat

Peace in the hills north of Verona. Lovely hosts made us feel welcome. A great base to explore the area from Verona to Lake Garda and Venice. We also enjoyed the walks from the house.

Total Charmers -- the Place and the People

Authentic stone farmhouse from the 1400s, beautifully updated! Great for our extended family group, with big open areas to gather and cook and swim and sauna. And the hosts are very darling and helpful! (and their big friendly dogs adopted us as well!)

Perfect!

This house is absolutely gorgeous and in such a lovely setting. We had plenty of space for our family of 4, and the house was extremely clean and nicely appointed. Francesca’s yard is beautiful and she was such a great communicator. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!

Amazing Villa in the foothills of Verona

Our stay at this villa was amazing. This beautiful and spacious 15th century farm house was more than we ever expected. I will struggle to explain the rustic beauty and luxurious feel of the property. Our hosts were so kind and helpful. They ensured our stay was perfect and went above and beyond to help us when we had travel difficulties. It's so nice to find genuinely caring people. We will never forget our brief but wonderful vist.

A very big thank you to our hosts Francesca and Beppe. Your house is absolutely amazing and restored with so many details and passion. The way you helped us with your recommendations was just extraordinary. Thank you again for the time at your house, the hint with the winery and the reachability for all other questions. Hope to see you again in the future

More beautiful than the pictures

I can’t say enough about how great it was staying here. The place is filled with so much care. It’s close enough to town and Verona(about 20 min) and isolated enough to can take long walks in nature every day. The absolute perfect place to stay. Gorgeous beyond imagination. The photos can’t even touch the feeling of how beautiful the house is inside and out, as well as the area. Surrounded by totally quiet nature. They have amazing dogs and the friendliest pet chicken. The design overall in the house is beautiful and clean, completely complimenting the rustic beauty of the stone walls and wood floors. Bathtubs amazing and good hot water. The owners were so helpful with everything we neede. We could come back just to stay here.

An amazing stay! 10/10

This was an amazing property. Myself and 7 others checked in for a long weekend away. We were all blown away at how beautiful the house and garden were. We spent the weekend relaxing in the garden, using the pool and sauna, eating outside and having movie nights. The setting is so idyllic. The property is tucked away in the countryside overlooking a vineyard. It is about 20 minutes in a taxi from the city centre which makes it easy to get to. Remember to bring cash for the taxi as the internet for the card machines doesn't always work. Francesca is a 10/10 host. She was there when we needed her, very quick to respond to questions over the phone and helped us with taxis. She made the whole settling into the house seamless. I can't fault the house or the host. I would 100% come back to this house!

Summer 07.2023

We were warmly welcomed by the landlord. The object with garden was nice and big and spacious. The bedding was as advertised, but the small single room had no window and no air conditioning. The dishes in the cupboards weren't really clean and there was even a used pot in the cupboard. This was probably due to the defective dishwasher. The landlady tried to fix the problem. In addition, the television (for children) in the living room also didn't work and the laundry from the washing machine also came out a bit dingy. All in all, the overnight price of EUR 700.00 per night is very high. In addition, there is the very poor access route to the accommodation, which can almost only be managed with four-wheel drive.

Answering (details below): - Dishwasher's problem was solved in 24h. In the meantime we washed your crockery. - Tv : we would have solved the issue in 24h if your dog had allowed technician to enter in the living room. - Washing machine works. - If the 2 parking spaces one meter from the entrance are inconvenient to reach, there are 3 more available at 60 meters, as communicated to you. Details by point: - The dishwasher's problem had not been reported to us by previous guests. Once reported to us by you, it was solved in 24h. In the meantime all the dishes have been washed by us as free extra service to relieve you of any inconvenience. Technician also found big pieces of food that could cause damages. It is suggestable to rinse before. - The television was just unprogrammed. The technician was immediately available for reprogramming, but despite having communicated the technician's arrival time, you left the dog locked in the living room and the technician could not enter. - the rate is for 8 persons including Vrbo fee, cleaning cost and extra cleaning cost for dog. About the dog, it would be useful to warn the host that your dog is very aggressive towards people.

Gorgeous countryside

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place to come. The property is so peaceful and situated so you don’t have to interact with the host if you don’t want to. There is a steep drive and some steps to the property but most cars should handle the drive and our 80 year old parents handled the steps fine. The 2 dogs (Nina and Victor) are people lovers and sweet. Alexandra is attentive and accommodating. Giuseppe has helpful tips for the area. This place is a great location for exploring all the wonderful Amarone wine makers in the area.

Beautifully appointed property.

Fantastic home in a great location. The house is located just a 15 minute ride north of Verona and is therefore perfect for families or couples to stay while experiencing the true delights of the idyllic and picturesque region. Easy trips can be made to Lake Garda, famous wine regions and even further afar including Milan, Venice and the Dolomites. We were thoroughly impressed by the holiday home and the warmth and helpfulness shown by our hosts Francesca and Giuseppe. All rooms are well equipped with everything you need. We would not hesitate to highly recommend this holiday home. Kind Regards Andrew & Anna
