Great city, disappointing apartment

In summary it was very hard to contact the management company for the property and I did not know for weeks if my booking was confirmed. I received no response on many occasions until I finally tracked their office down. Then a lady was lovely. Same with check in- the person who arrived was great but getting hold of them was a nightmare. We saw other people waiting for hours to be let in. In terms of the place itself TV didn't work (still on analogue!) kitchen and bathroom plugs didn't work, no duvet cover, curtain rail fell off, tiny bins, chairs needed cushions, dust and used tissue under bed, no air con as advertised, brown stain on cushions of both chairs. Will not use this company again- VRBO were OK but could do little as were just middlemen. But Bologna is lovely!
