Great location and very comfortable place.

Great location and very comfortable place. On the negative, a second bathroom would have helped. Worth mentioning that although there’s no drying machine for clothes there’s a drying area outside sheltered from rain but not the wind - very effective.

Lovely, quiet three bedroom cottage in Poolewe. The cottage was clean and well kept. The front garden overlooking the river is particularly nice. Because Poolewe is tiny and does not have a local shop, it would have been helpful to have some basics such as salt, pepper, dried herbs, coffee, or tea provided. If not, then please tell future guests not to expect these basics so they can better prepare in advance. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable but beds are getting very soft. Kitchen is well equipped for basic cooking/dining (although see above). We loved the CD movie colllection and had a James Bond movie festival!
