We rented this cottage as a base to explore the southern region of the Irish Loop.
It was well located and the view of the bay provided some whale watching. Few whales come to this bay due to the caplin not spawning here.
The amenities were basic cabin. The listing does not say what they do not have. There is no TV, WiFi and cell service is poor.
Good times were had by all.
A beautiful location with an immaculately clean and gorgeous cabin. Little short on comfy sitting space and wish there were a set of binoculars to see the birds in the bay but these are minor issues. We had an amazing stay with everything you could need provided (bring own food and drinks of course). The detail of the cabin is unbelievable! The swing on the deck looking out over the bay was a favourite spot. Hiking, Mistaken Point, and Cape Race are close by and we loved the whale watching!! Then back for a bbq and a glass of wine while listening to the ocean in the evening. This is a must see/must do in NL!! We hope to be back soon!!

What a beautiful cabin in a beautiful place!
This log cabin was big, beautiful, incredibly clean, and comfortably slept 11 adults and a baby! The location is also lovely, even with some fog :) I highly recommend this accommodation, especially for a large group!
