🌿 PEACE, NATURE & WILDLIFE

Nature is your closest neighbour here.

From the cabin’s veranda, you can watch birds, squirrels, hares and sometimes reindeer wandering through the surrounding forest. This is a place to disconnect from everyday stress, slow down, and experience the simplicity of life close to nature.

🌿 THE EXPERIENCE
• Secluded location in the forest beside a small lake
• Private wood-fired sauna by the water
• Hiking, walking, cycling, and nature trails nearby
• Experience the wildlife and the eight traditional Sámi seasons
• Swimming, berry picking, and mushroom foraging during summer and autumn
• Northern Lights, snow-covered landscapes, and winter activities during winter and spring

💦 THE SAUNA

A traditional wood-fired sauna is included twice per week.

The sauna is heated separately for each session and is not intended to remain heated throughout the day. A typical Nordic sauna experience lasts 1–2 hours.

A 20-litre water tank is heated by the stove while the sauna warms up. Warm water is used for washing in traditional wash basins, while the steam creates a relaxing and authentic atmosphere.

The sauna stands directly beside the lake, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing swim before returning to the warmth.

Tip: Bring some hot water back to the cabin after your sauna session for washing dishes.

🌱 OFF-GRID & SUSTAINABLE

The cabin operates with a strong focus on sustainability and circular living:
• Lake water or fresh tap water stored in stainless steel containers
• Energy-efficient wood-burning heating
• Solar-powered lighting and LED lamps
• Traditional wood-fired sauna
• Composting of food waste
• Recycled and restored furniture with a charming retro character
