Might not be suitable for all dogsThe lodge is in a great location and it’s really peaceful, but the shared garden wouldn’t be ideal if you have a dog who is reactive. The garden is not fully enclosed so if you have a runner they would also need to be kept on a lead. My dog is neither but she is nosey so she always wanted to walk around the outside of the other lodges and she knew how to get to the river so she had to be kept on a lead. There are a few cosmetic updates needed in the lodge (poorly mitred unpainted skirting board in the bathroom that falls off, missing guttering which needs repairing) but that didn’t particularly bother me as it was clean and spacious. Ideal base for a group/family.
