Perfect piece of Paradise

Absolutely beautiful little gem in quiet Praiano. A good few restaurants up the hill and bus stop is near the house. Highly recommend this spot in Amalfi, the view itself is worth it.

We stayed here for the first part of our Honeymoon and could not have enough nice things to say about it! The view from the private deck is absolutely incredible and just walking distance from some of the best food you’ll ever eat. The outdoor shower looking out into the ocean was a big love! The town of Praiano was so cute, plenty of restaurants and beaches. My husband and I preferred it way more than Positano or Almafi which were packed! Our stay at La Gemma was a 10/10!

Great stay at a great place

We had a great time it was a wonderful little town perfect for us. Communication was great with property manager, our only issue was the parking as our Vrbo listing stated parking was included however this was not the case as parking is very tight, it ended up being €180,00 for a facility about 20 min walk away to stow our car. Would have been good to understand this better at time of booking. Other than that it is a great listing that we would recommend.

Talk About a View…

Very, very nice house with a good location for exploring the Amalfi coast. We “lived” in the deck; who wouldn’t with that view! The previous tenants had broken the washer, the manager was right on it. Parts had to be ordered & it wouldn’t be fixed while we were there so the manager approached the owners to refund some of our cleaning fee for the inconvenience. You can’t ask for anymore than that!!!

Beautiful deck and views of the sea and coast line. Wonderful nighttime views of Positano with the lights. It was relatively easy to get around by bus (sometimes the buses got a little crowded or ran late), however taxis to Positano or Amalfi were very expensive so bus seemed like the only option. No ferry’s run from Praiano so you need to go to either Amalie or Positano to catch one to your destination. Praiano was a nice place to stay as it is out of the hustle and bustle of Positano. The one downside was the town was a little confusing and while there were restaurants within walking distance, it was sometimes hard to find something as the town is laid out in long streets with few places.

Perfect location between Positano and Amalfi

Everything was as advertised. It’s an easy walk to the bus stop or taxi stand. We had a rental car and there is limited parking but it wasn’t an issue for us. Check in was easy. We were running late and we were met right outside of the apartment. Communication with the host was excellent. The apartment iis beautiful and the views from the deck are amazing. We would definitely stay here again.
