Lovely, atmospheric accommodation

Staff were excellent, room was amazing - I so enjoyed how obviously historical the building was. Floors and stairs are a bit uneven, so not for people with limited mobility.

Kind and quirky

Staff were kind and accommodating. Room was beautiful. Good food choice. Loved all the history of the place. Daughter had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back.

pleasant stay in a beautiful ambiance

Friendly staff. We were allowed to drop off our suitcases early because we were attending a football match. After the match, check-in was very smooth. We were also allowed to leave our suitcases for free after check-out and pick them up later. Beautiful old inn with a pleasant atmosphere where you can enjoy a drink after your return in the evening.

The staff were friendly from beginning to end. The hotel was so quirky! Such a lot of interesting historical details to see everywhere. A really enjoyable experience. Right on the doorstep of lots of things to do too.

Great Cultural Experiance!

As a Canadian band that stays many hotels in a year, the Olde Crown offers a really memorable experience. Being the oldest Inn in Birmingham the slanted floors, old skeleton key and creaky floors added to the excitement we had staying in such a historic place. This can't be said for many hotels but here it works. Excellent staff and delicious food at the pub downstairs.

Take That visit

Called prior to staying and found management very helpful. Checked in and was given key and instructions how to enter property outside hours etc. It was a short taxi ride to our venue. Or about 25 min walk. Only one thing to mention, the towels were like cardboard. But otherwise very good.
