Very peaceful location

We wanted a short break to visit Rutland Water to participate in water sports, unfortunately we had to leave a day early because of unforeseen circumstances.

Home from home

We stayed for 2 months while our house in Oakham was being extended. The best decision ever. Sally and Colin are hands-off but available if need. The whole set-up is fantastic and we have really enjoyed 'living' here.

Cosy countryside retreat

Lovely 2 night stay. Mange-tout maison is well equipped: oven, microwave, dishwasher. Two comfy bedrooms, one double and one twin. Cosy lounge, the ceiling is low and at a slant but not a problem once you are aware. Parking for 2 cars. Lovely decking area for 4 which catches the late sfternoon and evening sun. The pub is a 10 min walk. Oakham and Rutland Water a short drive. Would recommend the 6 mile walk around the Hambleton peninsula. Would definitely recommend and stay here again
